Deandra elsewhere claimed to have studied "Adult Nursing" at Ayrshire College, which isn't a course they offer. Probably studied Access To Nursing, which is part of SWAP (Scottish Wider Access Program, basically designed to get NEETS who've been out of work/education for 5+ years into university).

Deandra also claimed elsewhere to be a nursing assistant. That's basically an entry level unskilled grunt job where you help bathe patients, help feed them, help lift them etc and maybe do basic stuff like taking their temperature or pulse.

The NHS is short staffed with nurses and doctors (especially with many quitting after the covid shitshow), so they've probably dropped standards a bit. Glasgow Caledonian is basically a factory for producing qualified NHS staff rather than a full on university, and Deandra will be getting a tugboat (IIRC £10k/year in Scotland from the nursing bursary + £5k/year from nursing grant + free accommodation if you're lucky with your NHS trust).

There isn't with transsexuality though: Laverne Cox is an identical twin and his brother isn't trans. They used that on OITNB to have his brother play his character pre-transition in the flashbacks. There have been studies involving homozygotic (identical) and dizygotic (fraternal) twins, which is generally the gold standard for twin studies. If you want to show a trait is genetic, this is as good as you get. And identical twins are statistically more likely both to be gay than fraternal. So there is definitely a genetic aspect, although it is not complete.

Daniel and his ex-wife both claim to have a diagnosis of ME and autism. ME (Myalgic encephalomyelitis) is better known as chronic fatigue syndrome. It's an illness with an unknown aetiology and so has become the new 'chronic back pain' for work shy malingerers. Before the widespread use of MRI scans anyone who wanted to claim disability would go to their doctor and get a letter saying they had debilitating back pain caused by an injury that wasn't showing up on X-rays or even CT scans, but with contrast imaging that doesn't fly any more. So instead it's muh mental health, ME and long Covid. I think the family's history of claiming various impossible to properly diagnose illnesses (autism, multi-focal seizures, depression, ME) is for the gibs.

There are statistical associations with having an older brother and gay men having closer to "female" balances of estrogen and testosterone, but the horomones during pregnancy thing is entirely a vague hypothesis that doesn't have any notable evidence. There is more evidence there's some kind of a genetic factor, but there's not really a true "gay" gene set. There are for sure examples of post viral malaise, but they're not common and yes long covid is mostly complete bullshit. ME is a catch all name for a poorly defined symptom set, it is not a real illness.

I think it's worth considering that ME is a mysterious illness that is very real, but much like fibromyalgia, it's something that people like the Challenors choose to fake.

The entire family at one point or another claimed to have chronic physical health issues to the point that several of them used wheelchairs (and then stopped using them). They've gone out of their way to send dozens of freedom of information requests to local government and submitted formal complaints to various companies and organisations. When any wrongdoing arises, there's always an explanation and a counter claim ("I didn't deceive the Greens, technically, also they're all transphobes"). The kids have been in and out of care, and that's after Mrs. Challenor's first kids were taken off her. Their lack of regular jobs meant they infiltrated several youth organisations because they had loads of time on their hands.

Child rape and torture aside, it's obvious that they're a family of malingers who look to exploit the system any way they can. They are absolutely lying about having ME, specifically because the mysterious nature of ME means it's easy to fake, but it means no need to work and a big boost to Universal Credit payments.
