But seriously, did this guy have fans to begin with?

Also, I don't think we needed to archive them. They weren't really notable, except for the Frozen one.
You'd be quite surprised since before they were taken down, there was a lot of "positive comments" from the frozen review

Really? Wow, are people starting to like YouTubers solely because they sperg about cartoons? I know MrEnter does it and he has a lot of fans, but people could like him for his opinions too. That being said, wasn't Frozen popular with the internet when it was released?

Mr. Enter is only where he is because of the collective fandumb of bronies who bought into his bullshit a few years back.

More than your usual Disney flick but there are plenty of people that disliked it. It just seems they are now raging a year too late.

Hello members of the Enter board, it's Pikonic. You may not remember me since I've only posted here once before, though slowly I'm being drawn into the Entersphere. I don't follow this board but I have Spergatory on watch (don't judge me) and I saw the debate about this guys Double Dilemma review. Curiosity got the best of me so I watched it.

This guy's a nutter butter. I've only seen one Enter review (Herpes the Love Sore), where Enter kinda uses reason and actual critism (Brian's character development and plot structure), this guy just does shitty AVGN style edgyness.
Now, I was a film student in college before switching to biology and I have a few homies who work in the children's entertainment industry, so I kinda know what I'm talking about.

-He complains about the disguises being bad. I know this is a recurring gag in Pokémon but he rages about how fans of May can't see through it. This is actually a tactic used for smaller children where they catch on to something before the characters do. It makes the children feel better because they're smarter than the characters and works for comedy because they can laugh more at the characters struggling with something they figured out instantly. Go watch Blues Clues and see how much faster you find clues before Steve does. A child won't get angry and go "WHY CANT THEY FIGURE IT OUT!", like an adult might, they'll laugh and go "they STILL can't figure it out hahaha!" I know "Dude, it's a kids show." is a cliché argument, but you can't get mad when they dumb down the material, because it wasn't meant for you.
- The town doesn't care about Ash and are jerks to him. That's called conflict.
-"Who the Pokémon are you?" Is another example of a tactic used in children's TV. It's when they take an adult theme or line and water it down so much that's it's G-rated. The kids won't get it and they won't care. The parents being forced to watch the show have something to chuckle at. Don't believe me, revisit Rugrats as an adult. The child psychologist who was all new age was called Lipschitz, because he spewed a bunch of crap out of his mouth. I didn't get that as a child, but I'm sure my parents realized the pun. So a parent might think "Pokémon is Hell. Lol"

I get that kids shows are sometimes bad. I get that writing is bad, and I get that Pokémon is a 15 year old commercial and isn't exactly the height of quality. What's annoying is when adult reviewers can't grasp how a show might affect children differently. Also, I just love his review of kids shows with his 5edgy3me attitude. His line about dying in a pit of anthrax was was funnier than anything in that episode.

@Pikonic: They put those in not only for the sake of the parents who are forced to watch, but for the sanity of the adults who work on the show. If the execs just scratch all that out they turn to making porn in the studio.

Adults in general, especially those who complain about kids' shows, do not understand children.

Oh most certainty. The voice actor who is playing Patrick Star is 57 years old. I'm too old for that shit and Bill is twice my age. He also got his break on Coach, which was a pretty adult and progressive show for it's time, I'm sure he's happy on Spongebob, he must make bank.
You don't want Patrick Star's actor to lose his mind from mind numbing children's garbage, dude is 6'6" (1.98 m) So yeah, I get that you need to preserve their sanity as well as the parents. Like, that's why stories like "Squidward's Suicide" has a taste of believability.

Off topic but I'd love to meet Bill Fagerbakke at a convention and ask him to do a Dauber bit, I wonder of he'd appreciate the nostalgia.

@Pikonic: Despite what most of You-Know-Who's moron fans think, from what I hear the majority of writers and actors on SpongeBob enjoy their jobs.

Also off-topic, I'd love to meet Mr. Lawrence and ask him why Plankton doesn't say "I went to college!" anymore. (And then get him on tape saying that and the "I am the cheese" bit from Rocko's Modern Life.)

Oh the Spongebob staff is happier than a pig in shit. I don't know about them, I'm just a fan of Bill Fagerbakke. I know he loves it. Fun fact is he calls Patrick Star "AquaDauber" as a throwback to his character on Coach.
