I would of watch the hell out of thatI feel like doing a short series of videos regarding Enter and the Enterbots. Mostly just discussing how a group of people who desire originality just rip off Enter and create a cycle of unoriginality.
I remember watching it, I thinkHaven't seen that particular episode, but aside from his last sentence, the rest of his points are valid.
Look, I get the Dumbass Dad/Dumbass Male trope needs to die. But seriously though, kids shows like Pokemon are allowed to have realistic conflicts and misunderstandings such as the conflict in that episode. Of course, it is not going to be completely realistic and is probably sugar-coated for children. But honestly, children shouldn't have to only have the most cynical parts of the world, much like how it is absolute bullshit for children to have only the most idealistic parts of the world. The world needs a balance of both idealism and cynicism and sometimes, that balance is expressed on a children's television show like Pokemon.![]()
"Screw objective criticism! My personal experience is an away more valid reasoning!"
I can't wrap my head around the idea that they feel comfortable saying that some shit that kids watch and giggle over left them permanently scarred. They're literally saying that kids are tougher and more mentally stable than them.Things that scar people: abuse, assault, rape, war, murder of loved ones, being stalked.
Things that scar enterbots: The Rugrats, ponies shouting at each other, hiding fetishes, editing their work.
That's why "That's disturbing" its not a strong argument on criticism, because it is too subjectiveNeither can I, because I've never had any traumatic experiences or anything like that. You have to look at it from the perspective of someone who HAS.
Maybe you just have a thicker skin, or it hit too close to home for him. Not everyone handles these things the same. Again, I can't relate to depression or trauma, what episode did he say gave him a three-day depression? I can maybe look at a transcript or something to have a better idea of where he's coming from.
But are you sure he wasn't just exaggerating how bad it was?
Which episode was it, and what part of it supposedly gave him a 3-day depression?I just watched it, it's not bad, at all.
