Here's the way it's going to go down with Alice, because this is the way it always goes down with Alice: she will start vaping something fruity and without nicotine. It's not smoke! It's vapor. This will inevitably lead to vaping nicotine. Just occasionally, you see. It's not smoke. She's not smoking! Then she'll start smoking like a cracked Victorian chimney.

She can totally manage drinking like a responsible adult. She'll have a glass of champers after "work" as a reward for a hard day and to unwind from the hectic, competitive world of deleting comments and locking threads like a boss. In a few weeks, she'll be blackout drunk and slurring into Instagram in front of whichever bar she's just been ejected from.
