Alien abductees create batshit art. My autistic fixation started during a months-long deep dive into alien abductee Facebook communities, including invite-only groups which are a goldmine of schizocows and which produce an inordinate amount of truly bizarre content. I'd like to detail more of my findings in another thread, one day, when I have time to collate everything. In this thread, I'd like to specifically discuss online extra-terrestrial art, for which there is no established forum (afaik) but which nevertheless can be found floating around in the more schizo corners of the internet. Any other Kiwis sperging over this stuff or is it just me?

There is a thread about Paul Richard Allen A.K.A. The Alien Whisperer, from the Galactic Federation of Light. Attentive Kiwis may therefore be familiar with that œuvre.

By far the best online repository of the stuff was the now-defunct Facebook page Extra-Terrestrials Created Hue-man Beings And Religions (deadlink; Archive.org December 30 2015 without images), which featured hundreds of images of this kind of stuff with manifestly insane captions. I am seriously upset about its deletion; don't ask me why I didn't archive properly (it's because I'm a stupid idiot fucking faggot failure).

I was thinking to leave that for a future thread and that this thread could discuss alien-related artwork only. As @Green Alien Baby implies, alien abduction stuff is not exactly so novel. But I think the art is interesting. Maybe the topic of this thread is too niche and should be moved to Prospering Grounds, Arts & Literature or removed?

At first I thought this thread was going to be about UFOs in ancient art -- which I find pretty fascinating. But the alien abduction art is interesting, too.

I like the Allagash abduction art, because its a fairly basic story. (no weird hybrids races, claims of repeat cases, no weird religion or spiritual shit) Just a typical abduction and probing.

Its also damn creepy. It varies in style because there were four people, all abducted together.

Back in the day, Joy Of Satan was a fucking cesspool for crazies and there were multiple Yahoo groups they made which all revolved around 'psychik attacks on the jews' and about summoning aliens/demons. Creating art for the gods was one of the things they promoted as a way to worship them.

There was some hilarious art there - Poetry, drawings, music. Just imagine a bunch of edgy teens in a UFO religion. I've very rarely seen some people still say they're part of JOS even though I thought it went extinct long ago but I guess crazies will always crazy.

Their idea was that Demons and Aliens were pretty much one in the same. Satan was an extraterrestrial who came to Earth and it linked in with the whole Annunaki wildness too. It got so fucked up at one point there was a sub branch called Enki-Ea who went off to do their own thing while denouncing JOS.

Anyway, their depictions of 'demons' were always just like those white, blonde aliens. Lots of experiences in the old groups posted akin to the old classic 'I FOUGHT THE LEVIATHAN IN MY BATHTUB', where people would write about alien abductions and meeting these guys;

Oh I love those guys, I think they're super cute designs.
I know the Flatwoods Monster is pretty much agreed to have been an owl or something similar with reflecting eyes, but I always liked how weird the design was.

I've always found these interesting. It's a lot like Outsider Art, stuff like Charles Deilschau and the Sonora Aero Club. In a way you could consider that an early form of UFO art, though it's difficult to say whether he believed they really existed or if it was just a fun hobby for him to draw aircraft.

There's another internet classic where someone apparently found a box filled with detailed drawings. I see that as outsider art, too - Incredibly detailed works, probably an older guy. Voynich manuscript is a fascinating one too. It feels like folk who were worldbuilding and doing their own little explorations of how these mythical beings might have looked.

This guy went all the way out and did maps and such, too.

UFO's and angels always seem to link together for folk with more obscure religious interests. Old paintings from Christianity get cited that the 'halos' behind the heads of saints and such could have actually been UFO's pointing downwards, things like that.
Thinking of how seraphim were often said to look like wheels with eyes, I can see why people would think there's something freaky about it.

It's Charles Deilschau, the guy I mentioned in the post. He had an elaborate series of collages about a group he called the "Sonora Aero Club." Some of it is available in a book written about his life, and it's spawned a lot of UFO type conspiracy theories about who he was. I believe there's also a reprint of his collage books that was published as an Outsider Art gallery booklet.

There's something oddly nostalgic about old UFO art from the 20th century - 2000's, something tells me we won't see shit like that ever again. at least we still have Kangz and their Scifi stories

I remember that, did they ever find out who it belonged too? That art was something else.
