This just got announced. I guess it was being developed incognito, cause apparently it comes out over the summer.

It's a "Left for Dead" clone..

Edit: Reading more about this. It's been in development for a long ass time. Sounds a bit nightmarish, the developer was bought and sold four times. Adding complications was Disney's acqusition of 20th Century Fox(the game was already indevelopment).

I think this game started development shortly after Alien Isolation, but I'm not sure...

The actual developers mostly come from MMO backgrounds of City of Heroes, Star Trek: Online, and Neverwinter.

So, its either going to be an absolute trashfire or an extremely polished(but derivative)tactical survival co op game.

Saw MrHs video on it last night. There's not a chance it's going to look as pretty as that "pre alpha gameplay" footage they were using.

Plus it's a weird genre to try and squeeze into. Not really fitting with the lore for a handful of marines to be kicking in the teeth of an entire hive

Eh, if it's really difficult as fighting a hive as four marines would reasonably be and all, fair enough. I do like my 3PS games so I might at least give it a look. Agree on the thing not going to look as good, this thing looks REALLY good. Shitty time to release with Back4Blood on the horizon and the general co-op asym thing being simultaneously pretty dead and still ruled by L4D2.

It looks alright. Nothing particularly offends. The animations aren't top notch but -eh-. The main characters being that varied make me think maybe there's some sort of customization element to it?

It certainly won't be a hit, but it could be fun for what it is.
