I don't know about that. The Tumblr crowd hates fujos and yaoi now because they think it's homophobic because it "fetishizes gay men's bodies" or whatever. This is part of the reason why there's all the genderspecials and FTM troons in the yaoi fandom since they're allowed to fetishize gay men all they like (compare to all the MTF troons with lesbian fetishes in the yuri fandom).

Yes, that's the only pushback I've seen, though it's late in coming. But nobody pushes back against the shipping of straight characters as gay, because the same Tumblr crowd does want to challenge straight men's sexuality and feminize them. Society generally has lost the moral ability to tell fujos they shouldn't construct sexuality-swapping headcanon to fantasize over.

And Tumblr does approve of the yuri version, which fetishizes gay women. KF has a whole thread on it called everything is lesbian, and actually I've seen the pushback against the yaoi fall off as this trend picked up recently.

@BlameThatGuy I have no idea why you think Allison Cooke isn't HanLeia, but she was doxed TWICE and the info is verifiable.
