Alt-Right Groups Infighting -

Looks like all of these goose-stepping r-tardz want to be crowned as the new Fuhrer of this Fourth Reich they're striving for, but there's only one person that can fill that position. So naturally, they're at each others' throats to see who gets to ride standing up in the front seat of the armored Mercedes.

This should be in community watch. Also, if you need more content for this thread, I recommend reading up on the "Deploraball" incident from around Inauguration Day earlier this year. It was one of the earliest and biggest incidents of alt-right infighting. It was supposed to be an alt-right celebration that devolved into vicious bickering and conflict as invitations to the event were extended and rescinded on the basis of whether they were part of the anti-Palestinian alt-right or anti-Jooz alt-right and whether they were high up enough in the alt-right hierarchy. Many of the more minor figures like Sam Hyde felt miffed that they were not invited due to their outsider status, while others were upset that their invitations were revoked due to failing the ideological purity test of the event's organizers.

Another major locus for alt-right infighting was Trump's decision to bomb that Syrian airbase in response to the chemical weapons attack. They quickly divided into pro-Trump/pro-military and pro-Assad/anti-interventionist camps and were bitterly angry at one another for some time.

There have been reams and reams of stuff written about events like these, but they happened months ago so interest may have waned by now.

I've not noticed any infighting but ok.

Moved to CW regardless. This is barely worthy of that because it's not an actual community and more a "lol the people i disagree with are also disagreeing with each other let us be superior to them all together" which is innately not very funny.

If you think it's wrong to look at nazis as "people I disagree with", then I really don't want to know what sort of people you do agree with.

At least in the online realm from my observation, a lot of the conflict between the different alt-right figures and personalities isn't so much over ideology but over influence. They are all competing over a limited number of Patreon dollars, Twitter followers, and Youtube viewership, so it is in their interests to talk shit about their competitors and start internet slapfights to artificially generate interest in their content. On the SJW side of the internet commentator/punditry community, there is a similar phenomenon, but due to the adherence to privilege theory (aka the hierarchy of oppression points), there is more damaging penalties to starting slapfights with many of their fellows.

probably the same people you think are nazis tbh

Well, if they're going around acting like nazis and talking like nazis, and wanting to enforce the same kinds of things that nazis wanted, then yeah. They're fackin' nazis.

I know you're a Trump supporter and there's nothing wrong with that. But dude. These are literal nazis. Not spelling nazis. Not soup nazis. Actual, white supremacist, gas-the-jews kind of aryan faggots.

I'm all for more of the spergfest that is the alt-right but that's pretty barren for an OP.

I did provide a link for people to read. It's all there if you needed more content.

Both SJWs and Alt-ards need to be loaded into a Sun-bound rocket, IMO.

I dunno if you run a site called the Daily Shoah or the Daily Stormer or shit like therightstuff.biz you're more or less approaching Nazi-dom.

Tard fights are always funny.

I'm just not seeing the funny tard fight here, though. At least not yet. The OP is pretty threadbare.

I still haven't figured out what the alt-right supposedly is. Is it like republicans that use memes? Just memes? Something to do with memes?

It is an all-encompassing term usually meaning either "conservative who is not a neocon" or "person of a conservative persuasion I don't happen to like" depending on the speaker's own politics. Technically, much like SJW, it has no real meaning.

Before the 2016 election I considered the "alt-right" to be an American conservative who was not religious. A huge reason why the Republican party languished so terribly during the Obama administration was it was chained to Christian Fundamentalism. When /pol/ and other online entities began using the term "alt-right" I thought it was a great distinction to make for non-religious conservatives.

Then this shit happened. In an attempt to cement supporting Trump as a taboo, Clinton referred explicitly to the rise of the "alt-right" and inexorably linked it to neo-Nazi, racist overtones from online political communities like /pol/. She did the same thing later by referring to half of his supporters as being racists with her now-infamous "basket of deplorables" comment that probably did more harm than good. Then propaganda societies like CNN started paying dipshits like Richard Spencer, puppeting him as the """""founder of the alt-right""""""" and having him Seig Heil on live national television and endorse Trump.

Yeah, "alt-right" is a term that kind of used to mean something, but has been abused to the point where it no longer has any real meaning. The way alt-right is thrown around, it can mean anything between "people who post inoffensive frog cartoons" and "people who actively want to start a race war aimed at exterminating black people and Muslims."

I've met/know a significant fraction of prominent Alt Right folks, and it's a lot more epistemologically and racially heterogeneous than first appears. In fact there's a strong faction of asian alt right folks, and they played a sizable role in the Amish GOTV that won Pennsylvania for Trump.

Spencer also didn't found or coin the term Alt Right, no matter how much he tries to push that narrative. It actually came from Paul Gottlieb: http://www.frontpagemag.com/fpm/263988/some-observations-man-who-created-alt-right-paul-gottfried

I'm not going to go into details, but Richard is a giant jackass with bizarre fetishes and quite possibly a closeted homosexual. No I didn't sleep with him, but know someone who did.
