Huh, Hirschberg was a semi-repentant orbiter who seemed to be improving (in the sense that they decided to fuck off, which is often the healthiest approach), judging from where their thread went and the fact they stopped posting publicly on their social media.

I feel like most KFers would ultimately enjoy the cows, major or minor, turning their lives around and succeeding in becoming productive members of society - deep down most people desire a happy ending. Hirschberg should be commended for trying at least - if Alan really was killed on their way to a job interview, that is genuinely even more tragic.

It is worth noting that they don't show up on the funeral directors' list of online obituaries, but maybe that's an extra service they provide if requested, rather than a default.
