Amateur Psychoanalysis of OPL -

Today, I spent at least a couple hours putting together this Psych Profile of OPL after I found my mother's DSM-IV. It was actually interesting to Psychoanalyze CWC to within an inch of his life, and I thought I'd share what I found. If you want to dispute what I wrote, go obtain (read: pirate) a copy of the DSM-IV, and start looking at the pages specified in the sources. I also included several pages from the CWCki as sources, just to be sure that this stuff was TRUE and HONEST.

I have a couple of tiny nitpicks:

- "Chris Warner" Chandler?
- You initially identify Chris as a MtF transgender, and accordingly, on the first page, swap pronouns a lot (I'm not sure doing that is correct APA usage, but feel free to correct me). However, you don't identify him at the end as suffering from GID, nor do you take into account that even in the "lesbian" sex fantasy, he firmly identifies himself as "really a man."
- "Trolling by internet trolls" is a bit redundant. It would be more helpful if you glossed the term "trolling" with a definition on first usage.
- You don't mean "renal incontinence" -- "renal" has to do with the kidneys. I'm pretty sure you mean "fecal," unless he's also taken up peeing himself on a regular basis.

Given the depth of focus with which you treat the subject of CWCisms and how and why they arise, I would be interested to see you write a paper specifically on his linguistic defense mechanisms -- as you say, there is a whole category for words that discomfort him, like "tobacky" and "gaybian."

Overall a great start!

Thanks, I will try and fix those issues, also, if he had started to pee himself, I would have probably used the term Enuresis, which is, I believe the proper term for either voluntarily, or involuntarily peeing yourself. I should probably fix the GID thing as well, because, I am of the opinion that he has a GID, but he doesn't acknowledge it, or really know how to appropriately handle those feelings. I will probably fix the things above, and fix that redundancy, that's the wonderful thing about Google docs. As for the transgender thing, I'll fix that, If he identifies as a man, then he identifies as a man. That means that he has a paraphilia. Where is it... not Exhibitionism, not Frotteurism, definitely not Pedophilia, I'll find it, hang on... aha! Transvestic Fetishism.

IQ scores amount to absolutely nothing. I've known people with quite apparent learning problems who have scored very highly in IQ tests.

If the managers had an IQ in the low 70's, then according to the DSM-IV, they would be close to mentally retarded. First, Mild Mental Retardation is when you have an IQ of between 70 and 55. That is the criteria for mental retardation, an IQ below 70. Second, Mental Retardation isn't the same thing as a learning disorder, a learning disorder indicates difficulty learning, not retardation. My spanish teacher has Dyslexia, a well known learning disorder, but he clearly isn't mentally retarded, otherwise, I wouldn't be able to say "Yo tengo fuego en mí pantalones," which is a phrase I have always wanted to use as a non-sequitur in a conversation.

"gaybian" isn't OPL's evasive euphemism for a LGBT person. It's his word for a mythical "male lesbian that has sexual feelings for women"....so in other words, a heterosexual male.
He had to invent the word on the fly because he was being blackmailed into claiming he was gay. He thought he would be cute and say "I am a gay........bian."

I think that Childhood disintegrative disorder should be included only with an accompanying phrase that it is highly unlikely. Given Bob's age at the time of conception and the fact that Chris chose to play a game that required other's to be involved until he was banned from The Place, autism is far more likely.

You might want to also include axis III and IV. Chris is obviously suffering from malnutrition. He has many of the physical symptoms including gynecomastia. This is most likely caused by both poor diet and some of the medications Chris has been prescribed over the years. Malnutrition also causes severe depression and sometimes paranoia. The extremely high levels of oestrogen might also count towards his mild gender confusion. OPL's environmental stressors are also ridiculous. He has no support network, those he thinks are supporting him are enablers, the air quality/vermin/inadequate space inside the hoard will also be taking it's toll.

Chris's symptoms that mimic NPD are related to ToM. He has never been given any therapy in this area. That should probably be in there too.
