She doesn't talk about her lament, or ever provide any plausible excuse for her many short falls, but selflessly gives up any satisfaction derived from accomplishment.. to keep all of humanity from disappearing into hell.

Many things are at play here, and I don't think its any one thing: Lazy? Absolutely. Caught in a lie? 100% - However, while she isn't bright, outrage drives her viewership. She knows this to some degree and relies on the gaslighting formula. This feels more of a ploy to generate fake animosity to drive up viewership and community engagement. The last few videos were probably pre-recorded and she had no intention of completing vlogmas after youtube-buck payout a few days ago.
