I do believe she thinks WLS is her only real option, and has probably been told that by the three different local bariatric surgeons that have already refused her WLS. She does want the weightloss, she doesn't want to work for it or change her lifestyle...that's why she's suddenly paying so much attention to Chantal's Ozempic experience. She's already said that the FDA has approved Wegovy in the US for weightloss, and I'd be surprised if she doesn't try that first. The ongoing cost will far exceed even the US self-pay WLS cost though over more than about a year (definitely by 2 years)
Isn't ozempic an injectable? LOL. I can just imagine Big Al trying to give herself a shot. She'd make Becky do it.
Or, she could do something nuts like, I dunno, get some fucking therapy so she could start eating like a normal person and drop some poundage. But lezbreal here, she is not going to do anything for weight loss, whether it's WLS or some drug she thinks is a miracle* or eating properly: none of it matters because she is not truly invested in losing weight.Unfortunately, bariatric surgery is very likely her only option. For someone of her size, losing weight through diets is unlikely to be successful long term. The will power necessary to maintain a diet for months or years is not Amber’s forte. I do not think that using Wegovy will work for Amber long term either. It might be useful to help her lose some weight before bariatric surgery, but as she said, she can’t afford it in the U.S at least.
Her options are limited. I am not sure what she can do next.
* Except perhaps meth or possibly heroin. Those would probably be rather miraculous for her.
