Motor Crush is what a Speed Racer adaptation for the modern world would look like if it was done right. You have murderous illegal street racing, lesbians on motorcycles, and a decent main plot centered around the character's mysterious past and a giant flying murder-tetrahedron. I love it.

Kill Lock is about a group 4 robots in a galactic society of robots who have been given something called, well, a kill lock: if any of them dies, they all die. The art is goddamn FANTASTIC and the plot is also really good.

Mercy's about a pair of man-eating Lovecraftian horrors taking on the bodies of humans who are trying to break into the mine they came into this world from. Some of the best art I've seen in comics.

I enjoyed the He-Man / Thundercats crossover from 2017.

I mean...its a basic bitch crossover between two long existing properties, and it does nothing new, but it felt like the people that worked on it had a blast making it and they did their homework as they utilized references to both old shows to great effect. And considering the current state of comics, I'll take something fun.

The child in me really enjoyed it and it was fun to see the characters of both shows bounce off each other, and there were some really sweet moments, such as....

THUNDER-BATTLECAT!!!
