Anyone watching this year? I'm a sucker for campy 80's horror so I've really been enjoying it- predictable twists and all. Any thoughts on the theory that the events are a movie being played/acted?

I watched the first episode and I liked it. I'm a bit disappointed that the plot ain't about the 1984 book, but I'm enjoying the 80s vibe. I have yet to catch up with the current episodes. It feels it will be better than Apocalypse. Or so I hope.

No, AHS is an anthology series. Same actors, different roles. Different story each season.
