I wouldn't be surprised if the $15 dollar minimum wage increase is one of the points that was intentionally added to be used as a negotiating point to be dropped or at least reduced to something more reasonable like $10 or $12 bucks an hour.

Why would the DNC need to negotiate right now? January 6 is a perfect gag for any and all members of the GOPe that want to step out of line and will be for at least 6 months.

I don’t care anymore. I’ve lost any and all sympathy for American citizens because this is what they voted into power with a smug smile on their face. If their businesses shut down, that’s now their fault, if their minimum wage jobs (because let’s be real) fade away and they’re left with nothing that’s their fault, if their trust funds run out and they can’t do anything about it anymore, that’s their fault. This is THEIR fault for voting him into power and they’ll get what’s coming to them. I’m done putting aside pity for people who keep making the same mistakes. They had one chance with trump and his push for the stimulus and they chose this instead. Fucking rot.

I would completely agree if these policies only affected Biden voters, but that's not how it works. Conservatives are going to be hit the hardest by this, because the left is composed almost entirely of the upper middle class or higher (who have enough money to be fine) or welfare leeches (who will be fine as long as the gibs keep flowing). The working and middle classes are the ones on the block here, and both of them are overwhelmingly conservative.

Note: it would also raise the Federal minimum wage to $15.

See, rather than federally raise the wage, it should compel cities/states to match their wages with their inflation, in doing so, lessening the taxes to give the employers the chance to fiddle the curve in the increase. A blanket increase overall will just see inflation follow suit, and give a year, perhaps five, it'll have done more harm than good.

Because it’s a budget bill that requires 60 votes in the senate, not something relevant to the siege like a refresh of the patriot act. Trading one proposal for 10 votes worth of pork should be the easiest thing in the word for Bitch McConnell.

Their actions make more sense once you realize that the primary reason for everything they do is harming whites. Everything else is a distant secondary concern.
