There have been some examples of good Western interference in Foreign Social issues, like with Sati (Widow Sacrifice) in India being outlawed by the British, and there have been examples of it not being done enough (Molestation In Afghanistan). There have been negative examples such as the spread of the gay agenda. Usually depends on the country and practice in question.

To be fair, the problem isn’t so much with drug users as it is with dealing with the underlying causes of drug use. I think killing addicts and public smokers is a bit extreme, even for Asian standards.
