Part of me wants to see the wall happen. The other part of me knows that within my lifetime someone will just tear it down and have that moment cherished by Hollywood. Like the Berlin wall, except under a completely different context that'll just be ignored anyway to promote poor, oppressed POCs.

^Fucking This. Even if the Wall was a runaway success. Which would realistically require 100 feet of constantly patrolled and maintained solid concrete along every inch of the border. Im just amazed the Salt-Right actually believed the Dreamers were going to get deported. Either the Dream Act or some sort of compromise act was always going to pass. Even with the GOP in control of Congress. The Salt-Right forgets just how many Republicans are Pro Immigrant/Moderate. Remember the "Romney Autopsy" The Gang of 8. The Gang of 13. W. was famously soft on Immigration... Which lead to Him nearly splitting the Hispanic vote evenly with John Kerry. In fact all of that was the entire reason Republicans wanted to run Jeb! in the first place. Speaking as a pretty mainstream Republican. I am perfectly happy to see the Alt Right fuck off.
