It's been literally days on this forum for me and I've used many a no-no word, but it's the first time I've used an ever so elusive... "exceptional individual". Is there any history behind this? I would very much be interested in reading it, if so.

I believe the Patron saint of this Forum Lord Chris Chan himself used to refer to himself as an "exceptional individual" so it's used as a filter for r@tard as an in joke.

There are others, for example m!lk, and for some reason hashbrpwns, and others.

They usually end up being posted with hilarious results, like if you were to say you like cookies and milk...

And McDonald's hashbrowns are the best.

I remember reading the reason for the milk filter was because people were making retarded jokes about "MILKING LOLCOWS LOLOLOL" and Null got sick of the jokes.

I actually like their fries, compared to most other fast food. Every once in a while I'll catch the retard crew and get a soggy batch, but generally they're nice and crispy.

But I'm referring to the breakfast version of fries. These guys:

I wish that these filters would be moved or only applied for limited time only because those jokes get old. It’s bit annoying when you trying write something with exact wording only it change because of filter you didn’t know existed. At least those should be removed in article and news, and serious discussions bords as both those people post pieces from other sources that get hard to read and discuss.
