Off-Topic An under-explored side of Phil: Rollerskating! -

Interestingly, Phil's only two likes of things on Facebook aren't what you'd expect, like maybe cycling gear, weight-loss or autist self-care groups or resources for the translatinx community. They're for of all things rollerskating: Rollerskating Is Awesome and Roller Derby Rocks.

Is this an unsuspected side of our potato's identity? Does Phil see himself as our very own Rollergirl? [Horrifying.] Are laceups more testes-friendly than bikeseats? Should we expect to see the spud on skates?

It has been a long time since I heard the phrase Bishie Boyfriend, especially as regards Phil. However: not long enough.

Also interesting to note that Phil weighed about the same then that he does now, 212 pounds. (Not kilos, pounds.)

Does anybody know if he's ever even seen a roller derby before? I figured he just latched onto it without knowing anything about it because of the whole 'roller derby = lesbians' thing.

Pardon my sperging, but derby requires regular roller skates, not inline, and we have no proof of Ahuviya managing to use those.

He used to be really into inline skating during his weeb phase. Back then he hadn't been homeless, I think, and used to blade around pretty much everywhere. I don't remember why he dropped the activity. Without it he really ballooned up.
