Monthly update on Jace's mental state: June 2014​

June was marked by Jace's fateful decision to return to livestreaming. His "recovery" during the Privelege Points saga apparently completed, Jace started the month ready to take another swing at the whole streaming business. It didn't go well for him, and at this point we're at another period of uncomfortable radio silence.

One thing I've noticed a lot lately is what seems to be a new obsession with regression into a childlike state. It's shown itself months earlier but it's very obvious now that after his whole STRYKER saga and the re-indoctrination of him into Gail's christian craziness, Jace seems to have adopted a completely different coping mechanism for dealing with stress, in that instead of exploding outward at people with anger and threats of violence (his primary tactic in the first half of the saga) he seems to regress more and more and play the victim.

Stream #8 saw the emergence of the John Cena action figure, and he later on regressed to a state of literally playing with toys as he cuddled a picture of an anime Soap the Wolf fanart (in itself an image of comfort for him) while playing with a John Cena action figure.

This all happened when he was sleep deprived and high(?), it seems like in either a very relaxed, weakened or stressed state, he's taken into regressing into a childlike state of infancy. You can even hear it in his voice; he's all but dropped the tough guy voice of 2013 and replaced it with a childish whining monotone.

More recently we see an alternative rendition where he's literally using the wolf picture as a shield, hiding his head behind it at some points while grimacing at Tyce during Stream #11. He then cowers behind the American flag in a desperate attempt to hold his crumbling ego together as Tyce spouts fallacious lies about him being in Jesus Camp. Later in the same stream, seeing a DICKSQUAD operative flash their genitals to him was enough to send him running out of the room. He locked himself in the bathroom with the wolf picture and did... something... for the next hour or so. That's odd.

Jace also seems more curious about his childhood in general, as he confronted childhood trauma of his absentee dad on Stream #10. This of course ended with him in tears, but he did seem to enjoy re-writing his own history in a cathartic way, and later revealed in the second State of the Union Address a few days later that he felt much better "clearing out his closet" and getting those emotions out into the open.

Whether this is good or not for him long-term is debatable but ultimately he really hasn't done anything whatsoever to confront his delusions or real problems. All he has done so far is build another escapist fantasy and retreat into it to hide from the pressures of the world, as he is wont to do. Stryker has fallen out of favor with him as his mom disallowed it, so now he wants to act like a big kid because he knows FramerGirl et al. will white knight for him if he does, and Gail will treat him well if he does.

Ultimately, it's all stifling his growth to an extreme, shown most with his interactions with Tyce. Compare their interactions to this video, filmed sometime in 2013:

In this video, the non-infantalized Jace acts actually pretty normally, to the point where Tyce seems to genuinely enjoy his company or feel some kinship with him - at the very least, most of the time he isn't actively provoking him, whereas in Stream #11 it seems like his main motive is to just laugh at Jace and steal his shit. Granted they were "enemies" then, but still, Tyce spent the entire time verbally abusing a helpless mentally incompitent Jace, and it's a far cry from this video.

Long story short, Jace is finding temporary comfort in another fake identity as his real-world assets gradually collapse away from him and he willingly tunnels deeper and deeper into failure. He's become far more dependent on the Internet for emotional validation and friendship as his friends have all stopped hanging out with him, and instead of actually doing anything about his situation he feels perfectly content to attempt to construct his ultimate impenetrable hugbox.

He's also become more open about his interest in anime, even while he still hides his interest in furry art. He admitted to liking the Touhou games recently (I think it was on stream # and we've now seen that he keeps a collection of anime girl pictures available directly on his desktop (thank you Tyce) He seems to gravitate towards anime and furry art for comfort, so in the future I fully expect him to explore these avenues more and more as he seeks to occupy his time, and possibly even come out of the closet as a weeaboo/furry.

TL;DR: I think we'll probably be seeing a lot more of Soap the Wolf and less of Jack Stryker.

This is strictly hypothetical. For all I know Jack is an act, not another part of Jace. But let's say he was and was still somewhere deep within or whatever. However I'm sure that this is not the case, and probably never will be, if his mother, brother, pastor, shrink and whoever else is involved. I don't think that will happen, but say there was a slight chance, the Jack Stryker personality took over....

For all I know Jack is an act, not another part of Jace. But let's say he was and was still somewhere deep within or whatever. What would happen if this other personality became the dominant one as apposed to Jace to where Jace thought he really WAS this person that he himself made up, either if that.

If Jack took over he would flee tactically withdraw into the woods with the NVGs and the deagle to fight dicksquad terrorists.

IIRC, Jace has said at least once that Jack is just an idealized version of Jace.

True... I can only imagine what kind of people he would perceive to be affiliated with Dicksquad.... Hobos? people with a darker skin tone, gays, or perhaps people who dress funny, since Jack is obviously paranoid.
Also, I thought Jack, being a badass marine, would choose fight over flight, active over passive. I don't know, I just thought Jack would be more cold, calculating, and have a different perception of right and wrong, as to Jace's perception, I always though if Jack took over, he'd be more tactical and be likely to see certain people as a potential enemy.
OF course, Jace is medicated well enough that it probably won't happen, And that even if he wasn't that Jack was more or less of an act. But knowing Jace, (from what I've seen of him, I wouldn't rule out him adopting 'Jack as another personality or sort of alter-ego. )

I think that the last few months with Jace have revealed several things about himself and shed a lot of light on his past as well as his current situation. I'd say that the most important shit we learned was about his home life.

Pastor Faggot has been a factor in Jace's family for much longer than I could have predicted. I'd always assumed that he'd merely been called in to help get Jace back on track after his drug problem got to be too much for Gail to ignore, but in Livestreams 10-11 we learned that Father Fuckman had a hand in Jace's father leaving the family, and in Livestream 12 I believe Jace stated that he'd even attended family vacations and roadtrips during Jace's childhood. (I may be mistaken, correct me if I'm wrong on that.)

This all leads me to believe that theories of a more-than-churchbound relationship between Gail and the Good Reverend Rumpuslove may be founded in some degree of fact, though to what length their relationship extends is questionable. Regardless, it confirms that Cardinal Cockcraver was significantly involved in Jace's early life, and that his influence in Jace's upbringing may have extended further than any of us might've imagined. The significance of that is up to debate, I suppose, but it would make sense that Jace might have turned to Atheism as a rebellious response to Bishop Buttsex's presumably (based on what we've seen from Gail) fundamentalist brand of Protestantism.

So let me get this straight with the following theories I had in mind:

1. Pastor Faggot was a close friend to Gail

I was going to post this in a Tiberius Rising thread but i think it's more analysis then anything else

so made it through the full 14 chapters and there were a few things thought were worth pointing out (apologies if some of this has been said already)

1. the chose of Omar Khadr for villain is bizarre if you know anything about his case. Here's the TL;DR version of Omar's on going legal battle: Omar Khadr is a Canadian citizen who was shot and captured, at age 15, in Afghanistan during a US raid. it was found that Omar's father had close ties to Al-Qaeda leadership and Omar has been stuck in captivity ever since, he has been accused of killing a US marine but there is strong evidence that those accusations are entirely fabricated. nothing about Omar says terrorist mastermind, so why would Jace choose Omar as his antagonist? the simple answer is that it was in the news around the time when Jace started writing Tiberius Rising, in late September of 2012 (one month before the first chapter of Tiberius Rising) Omar was returned to Canada amidst a bit of a political clusterfuck and the resulting media coverage could have inspired Jace to google "Omar Khadr" then make Omar his Marine-killing baddie. this seems likely as Jace only demonstrates a basic knowledge of Omars case. there is one interesting parallel though, both Jace and Omar were abandoned by their fathers if Jace realises this I wouldn't be surprised to see a dramatic "we aren't so different you and i" scene towards the end of Tiberius Rising.

2. the googling is real!!! i thought it was really odd that Jace would be able to give precise technical specifications of obscure military kit but then fail to understand the difference between a clip and magazine or that a 50cal sniper rifle isn't universally the best option for sniping out tangos, dude. so when, in chapter 14, he spergs about some military grade knee pad i decided to google "tactical knee pad" and sure enough the first result that popped up was the exact same. It's not surprising but it does explain a lot about his way of sperging over things. he googles for some type of kit then works really hard to insert technical details into his story. i'm assuming he does for two reasons, one to ensure maximum realism and two to reassure himself and his "fans" that he is indeed a genuine whatever-the-autisticly-long-title-curently-is.

3. for me the most interesting thing about chapter 14 is that Stryker gets hurt. not only does he get hurt, the only place he gets hurt is in the stomach. it seems that Jace is projecting his pain onto Stryker. I’m not sure exactly what the significance of this is but i thought of a few possibilities. it could signify a further blurring of the line between Jace and Jack with them now sharing physical sensations in Jace's mind. it's possible that Jace has incorporated feeling pain into his power fantasy to make it more compatible with his current reality. it could signify a breaking down of the fantasy, Stryker is no longer an Ubermarine because Jace is starting to realise how ridicules the whole thing is (yeah, right). all that said, it could just be Jace thinks about stomach pain a lot.

I'm not sure how much to read into things like 1 and 3. One of the things I'm curious about is whether the injuries will be permanent or just sort of forgotten about as the stories go on. Jace seems to treat games as reality a lot, so I wonder if they'll use a first aid kit and be at 100% health so to speak.

As for 2, I imagine his thought process is something like:
This thing in the game is sick! I'm gonna put it in my book!
I'm gonna google it so people don't accuse me of just ripping it off from the video game, even though that's totally what I'm doing.

He did a review for some gun during the vlogust thing like that. But this is what happens when he doesn't CTRL-C CTRL-V.

...and while I was looking for that, I found a video with mention of his dad. He didn't seem to hate hm at the time. It was about a book his dad gave him. It also shows that fact zone didn't come *completely* out of left field:

It appears his mom isn't the only nutcase in his family. The book is written by a full on conspiracy theorist. Birther, 9/11 truth, something about North American Union, the whole nine yards. I'm not so sure his dad left Gail because she was too crazy for him any more. Unless their different brands of crazy were incompatible with each other or something.

Here's something to ponder, though I'm not taking this 100% seriously:

I'm starting to think that Jace is probably using the stream music choices to help him get to the happy zone. Could he be cutting the video to *doot doot dododo doot doot do dododo* because it actually helps him calm down after a dicksual assault?

I also think that maybe the new "please stand by" animation with cheerful MS-DOS tracker music was deliberately "engineered" by CIADude to remind Jace of all of the happy accomplishments and what he intends to accomplish in his livestreams - much like how Jace was doing Garry's Mod comics to remind him of the happier days with Tyce and the gang.

tl;dr: Some autistic people love Sonic music because it's totally their thing. Wallpaper and PREPSONG.KDM speak to Jace's subconscious the same way.

Well, a caller on a previous livestream mentioned the sum of $921 per month (the disability allowance in the state of Mass) and Jace freaked out, saying, "how do you know that???", which suggests that Jace is indeed living on disability - it's quite possible that his mental illness (the one Jace himself always denies exists) is actually diagnosed (thus the meds). Alternatively, the puking issue we know Jace has (and which he has referred to as a medical condition) could well be sympomatic of a problem that "justifies" his .

This will be something that will be less about Jace and more about some other lolcows as well (but I will mention Jace as well), forgive me if what I am going to post is going to be in the wrong place. I will put it somewhere else if it is considered to be.

I had this small chat with WatchAmWeb about how high school was important to some lolcows in feeding their delusions that they actually had some semblence of a normal life with a healthy sense of belonging. We saw that with Chris and his galpals. It seemed that Jace had a little gang within his school that was the original Deagle Nation gang (please correct me on this if I am wrong), and he still does that nowadays. And with The Golden Knight, it seemed everyone loved his mullet for some weird reason in his school.

What makes high school such an important thing to lolcows like Jace, Chris and Golden Knight? I guess they end up meeting a big range of people and since they seems to be naturally antisocial, they don't make much actual real friendships. I guess the result in these lolcow's cases, they ended up finding a little clique that at the very least tolerated their presence or acted like they were their friend for superficial reasons ( I guess free ganja in Jace's case.)

Yeah, pretty much. High school is the last time you're really forced to be around the same group of people for an extended amount of time. College doesn't have a regimented schedule, and you don't have a small core group of people you're always in the same classes with until you're in the upper division courses specific to your major (none of those three made it that far). Because they have no work, that social circle doesn't apply to them either. As a result, they're just sort of left behind in high school mode while everyone else has gone off on new adventures.

Jace is probably bipolar, but his abuse of adderall probably keeps him in a constant manic state. Daniel Johnston didn't go downhill until he started engaging in substance abuse, and began suffering delusions such as turning the keys off in an airplane and throwing the keys out of the window because he thought he was Casper the Ghost. He might also have ADHD, which is why he has so much goddamn adderall. You know what a bipolar person should never do? Go off their meds.

We've heard very little from Jace about his disappearance between November 2013 and January 2014. Indeed, we don't even know for sure (by all means correct me if I'm wrong, people) that Jace was at Bible camp. However, that seems to be the most likely scenario, given what Gail said when contacted by the CIA. Tyce has never dropped the bomb on what Jace got up to, and obviously Jace won't tell us because that would shatter his fantasy about being a muhreen.
It wouldn't surprise me that much if someone had tried to ghey up to Jace when he was off at Jesus camp, though. He's much more homophobic now, and religious youth retreats and the like are (perversely) notorious hotspots of abuse.

I'm really wanting to know what went on with Jace's Dad. He's got SERIOUS Daddy issues. Last's night's stream with him sobbing "I don't wanna be my Dad!" made that clear, even if it wasn't before. (Which it was. Glaringly clear. Like fucking crystal.)

Also, Jesus Camp. What went on there? He hinted that someone came on to him there.

We've heard very little from Jace about his disappearance between November 2013 and January 2014. Indeed, we don't even know for sure (by all means correct me if I'm wrong, people) that Jace was at Bible camp. However, that seems to be the most likely scenario, given what Gail said when contacted by the CIA. Tyce has never dropped the bomb on what Jace got up to, and obviously Jace won't tell us because that would shatter his fantasy about being a muhreen.
It wouldn't surprise me that much if someone had tried to ghey up to Jace when he was off at Jesus camp, though. He's much more homophobic now, and religious youth retreats and the like are (perversely) notorious hotspots of abuse.
