Probably the biggest proponent to anarchism on this website is @Syaoran Li , let’s see what they think

Well, a successful anarchist society is a lot like a winged unicorn, an honest politician, or an attractive and socially competent incel...

In all seriousness, I think the Deep Thoughts subforum needs a general megathread on anarchism for containment.

What is there left to be said about it?
The people that advocate for anarcho-capitalism are walking contradictions just like anarcho-communists where they want to do away with one form of authority (in this case a government) in favor of another form of authroity that can be just as bad, if not shittier than the old authority that was previously abolished and shit.

Basically in an an-cap society, the plot to Bioshock would just play out in real life and they're a reason why they call them 'dystopias' because it may sound all nice on paper but in practice it's just all a world of shit.

At least a private company might have some kind of financial incentive to not fuck up.
As long as their not allowed to just keep printing money like our current gov't does.
This is basically the argument Hans Hermann Hoppe makes for monarchism over democracy, kings have an incentive to act in the long term interest of the country since it's their property and will be inherited by their sons, while democratic politicians have every incentive to steal anything that isn't nailed down during the short time they're in power.

The most prominent anarcho-capialist in history was Stephan Molyneux and he's followed the money and become a "build the wall, tariffs protect America" guy.

And these people don't know history. Kings milked their kingdoms dry and did plenty of short term retarded shit for love and prestige.

The thing I don't understand about anarchism is how, precisely its supposed to prevent the rise of another large organized system. Human beings organized themselves and consented to living in a society in the first place and established things like public services, laws, militaries and so forth. Were those systems to ever be abolished or handed over to private entities, corporations would essentially take on the role of being governments and being the large organized society anarchism is supposed to be against.

The United States already more or less operates on a highly decentralized system of government, to the point where sometimes it is really detrimental to local societies which are currently plagued with things like crumbling infrastructure and poisoned water supplies. You can't just take the government out of government and expect nothing to fill that gap. Corporate entities in many cases already do take over bureaucratic and processing tasks in the form of contractors. I used to work a job filling out paperwork for the immigration department, and without getting into detail that could get me arrested I'll just say the company I worked for was not the government in any way. The government doesn't handle most of this stuff directly, they just pay other people to do it for them. Other stuff that you'd think the government would want to handle, like money transportation by armored cars, is handled almost completely by private entities as well. I dunno how much more decentralized you can possibly fucking get.

Another thing I'd like to point out is that a lot of government agencies are self-sufficient and haven't needed tax money in decades. The most famous of which is the Post Office which likes to brag that they haven't accepted government money since the 1980s. Most agencies in this country already run like corporate entities and their organizational structures interbreed with each other all the time.

Hell, private defense contractors are amongst the most profitable companies in the country. You want more? How about a private Nuclear Technology corporation? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/General_Atomics Subject to regulation of course, but jesus christ, corporations have their mitts on everything. Everything. Every. Thing. We're basically already living in Ancapistan and despite the flaws its working well so far.

And some under the misguided belief that they were enlightened monarchs who could run things better than anyone else. A certain Danish king comes to mind I've heard of in passing but his name escapes me.

Anarcho-anything is retarded.

And it would be the ancaps getting thrown out of helicopters by tranny HR managers, not the other way around. Ancapistan will never make sense, but it's especially stupid to support if you're any kind of social conservative.
