I personally don't care about the argument of whether or not Kink should be at Pride festivals since at least where I live, the LGBT community more or less has its own quarantined sector. Most people with kids can't afford to live in the metro area anyways and the area the LGBT is in is really shitty 90% of the year whenever there isn't a festival going on.
That being said, I do think there's an argument of keeping minors out of pride. I get that teenagers experience sexual thoughts & shit, but that's not a reason to be sticking them in adult spaces. If anything, it's more reason to keep them out. There's just too much predation in the more sexually charged spaces for me to feel comfortable with minors (INCLUDING TEENS) to be freely walking around. Some might argue that by not being able to go to Pride, they're being withheld from knowledge or re-affirmation of their identity. No one's saying you can never go, just to wait until you're older. With the way the internet is now, it's impossible not to find LGBT communities to watch and interact with. There's still the problem with predation online but at least in those instances, as long as someone taught you basic OPSEC and behaviors to watch out for, you should be (relatively) fine.
It's just really uncomfortable seeing those pics of kids standing next to a stark naked dude in his 40's and then having people from the LGBT community saying that's healthy. It's not. It's really not. If the same thing happened at some festival with Catholics, people would be up in arms.

I think teenagers *should* be discouraged from affirming identities they develop as minors, especially ones that are sexual/potentially traumatic in nature. Young minds are incredibly impressionable and we should encourage people not to lock in their choices in life before they're even a fully developed adult.
