Yes it is him.Wait, is this the same Andrew Dickman who used to make those Dr. Wily shorts on Newgrounds? Or is there a different one? Because if so this is a real fucking blast from the past...
Actually he did do one thing that was kinda funny in an old school Bugs Bunny kind of way called "Ivan the Unbearable". It's got actual voice talent on it like Maurice LaMarche and Tress McNeille and it's about as professional as you can get for a short. You can see it here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZRP7srm6-1wHe calls himself an "animation professional" despite having never actually animated a single thing that wasn't a cringey fan animation in his life (his only credits for storyboards are for some of the shittiest cartoons in existence such as Teens Titans Go, Breadwinners, and Dinosaur Train).
that wasn't awful, but probably could do with a bit faster pacingActually he did do one thing that was kinda funny in an old school Bugs Bunny kind of way called "Ivan the Unbearable". It's a shame he's such a asshole in real life. Him and Phelous introduced me to the glory that is "Evil Toons". Oh well, I'm over it.
Yeah, the animation and overall timing felt slow at times. Not bad, but could have been improved.that wasn't awful, but probably could do with a bit faster pacing
Andrew's one of those guys who's content I thought was decent, but I always had a feeling something was off about him.
Aaah, nice try! I saw the dick joke you made before you edited it!
Did you have any interactions with him before?
Not bad really, though rather a shame it didn't lead to more interesting things from him, had he managed to get a foot through the door at those studios.Actually he did do one thing that was kinda funny in an old school Bugs Bunny kind of way called "Ivan the Unbearable". It happens. (of course I knew of Evil Toons before that but even I didn't want to waste my eyes there). It's a shame he's such a asshole in real life. Him and Phelous introduced me to the glory that is "Evil Toons". Oh well, I'm over it.
Not having seen "Random Cartoons", I do wonder how this measured up to the other shorts during that initiative? I feel they're all timed to be 7 minutes long exactly. Who knows how much padding had to be done to stretch this story out longer. I suppose the repetitive nature of the gag involving the character's hiccups did get dragged on a bit beyond knowing what to expect. Still for what was a pro gig, at least he has/had something to be a little thankful for.Yeah, the animation and overall timing felt slow at times. Not bad, but could have been improved.
At least Dickman has some sizable entries on IMDB, that's something even Dobson couldn't manage, but I guess moving someplace else was out of the question for him.How he treated the girlfriend was shitty, and good for her moving on, but outside that just seems to be a slightly pompus dude who's a bit shit at socialising. He's a bit like Dobson, but he's at least actively working unlike a lot of cows.
A-log said:Interesting way to bring back the series and continue where you last left off.
Also, if you need any voice-overs for this and future chapters, I can help you procure a few voice talents I know and some acting buddies of mine that would be of great help!
But the best part is the very top comment is from Anthony A-Log LoGatto himself.
He calls himself an "animation professional" despite having never actually animated a single thing that wasn't a cringey fan animation in his life (his only credits for storyboards are for some of the shittiest cartoons in existence such as Teens Titans Go, Breadwinners, and Dinosaur Train).
He also calls himself a "wannabe game designer" except the only "game designing" he does is whining on Twitter about just how badly he wishes to make a game someday as if he doesn't have the time! Even though all he does sit on his ass and draw tig ol' bitties all day, never conceptualize even a basic game idea, and get asspats from his followers.
The true essence of his lolcow-ery stems from his drama-filled relationship with his ex-girlfriend, Diane "Daggy" Modena.
They dated for 5 years and broke up late-2015 but the drama that came spewing forth lasted until early 2016. (her Twitter handle while they were dating was @daggyink but she now uses @daggychu)
He was emotionally and physically abusive to her, ie. saying Daggy looked especially cute when she was cowering and crying in a corner while he threw things across the house, and after she wanted to break up with him but had to still live in the same house with him he allegedly would wake her up by jacking off onto her while apologizing, and of course, threatening to kill himself!
It also came to light that he basically treated her like a maid, left bruises on her, was heard by Daggy's friends shouting at Daggy when she left the mic on on Discord, and wouldn't even let her leave the house most of the time.
People who have met him in-person also testify that he seems to have explosive anger issues at the smallest things.
honestly i like his art and reviews. surprised he's an actual dickman in real life.
I wanna say you're wrong? But you're not right also. I'm stuck between both.....This guy is a case of like the art, not the artist.
Quite a conundrum, isn't it?I wanna say you're wrong? But you're not right also. I'm stuck between both.....![]()
But then again? Even for a furry like him? He draws well. But his personality sucks donkey balls and it's sad these types of people always have the "Good art, but the shitty attitude in real life" crude.
At least we can wholeheartedly agree that Dickman is hot garbage!
