I was listening to Griffin Gaming earlier and he played that video. Why did Joe whine about the studio hiring someone from the community? He started rambling about the guy doing it for free etc. with no proof. If the player is a competent dev then why wouldn't they hire him? He goes on about the cutscenes being the same every year, do they have to be different?

They don't. Joe is just finding whatever to bitch about because so little seems to change from game to game that he just is using it as an example. But the fuck does EA care if they keep selling? There is only two ways this shit is gonna change. The first being that lootboxes get regulated as gambling, which is the far more likely scenario. The other is people stop spending money. But who is going to convince them? Those sports gamers and whales don't fucking watch Angry Joe. They probably watch a select few Youtubers and Streamers who pump out the EA positive, non-critical, tutorial and highlight videos. As much as Joe and everyone wants to complain about this. It does nothing, because those complaining aren't who is buying this shit anyways. And they aren't listening.

Joe is, I think, in the same position that Sterling is in in that he doesn't really want to cover gaming news anymore. If you look at his channel now he isn't really covering much of anything. He declared Xbox the winner of E3 and did that Madden rant, and that's about it.

My honest feeling is that unless he gets a sponsorship deal he will NOT cover a game on his channel.

Nintendo has some archaic views and policies when it comes to anything copyright. Going after fan games, mods, and their old Creator's program are their best examples.
