Okay, now that I can properly watch the rest of this review, I can say this is probably one of his worst reviews he's ever made. His constant raging while it was funny, it made the review hard to listen to the longer it lasts. (And it lasted the entire review) The "jokes" he made are awful, it's like he doesn't know what humor is. His reviewing points is, like I said earlier, just him picking apart small things and overreacting. And I can't be the only one who notices this, what's with his fucking tone of voice? It feels like his voice is getting harsher and harsher by each video. wow

Didn't feel like messing around with quotes so I'm just gonna reply to your points one by one.

1. He's also forgetting that rotoscoping has been a thing since Walt Disney (and probably even before that). IIRC rotoscoping was used in Snow White in order to make Snow's dress flow realistically. Both rotoscoping and mo-cap can and have been used well. Gollum from LotR is another good example of a mo-caped character. Fuck, as much hate as Jar Jar gets, he looked pretty damn good at the time and was created using mo-cap.

2. Totally agree with what you and @Lucricities had to say about subtitles.

3. It's funny how Enter whines about Milo not acting like a kid while simultaneously expecting him to act like no child in the real world ever would. He expects Milo to not be afraid of the dark, to fully articulate his emotions, and a bunch of other shit I don't care to list.

4. There were jokes?

5 & 6. Yes and oh god yes.

I don't even know if it's worth watching him whine for 30 minutes about an obviously mediocre movie. Really. I can only listen to Enter in periodic sessions. So like 3 minutes a day.

God, his voice is grating.

Also, as bad as this movie is, I don't think Enter understands how children act. They can be selfish and illogical and get scared over simple things. They don't come out of the womb acting like perfect little angel-sues.

...Makes you wonder what Enter must have been like as a kid.

Couple of things:

1. Shit, forgot about the rotoscoping technique there. But yeah, you have a point. If even I forget about that stuff, I seriously doubt that Entard would give two shits (which lowers his already piss-poor credibility down even further). Also, Jar jar wasn't Mo-cap, he was simply referenced.

2. Enter has unrealistic expectations, this sort of thing isn't new to him. Still, I have to wonder how his childhood was like. I sure as shit know how I acted like a child.

3. I think there were jokes, but I can't be sure given how terrible the script was. Assuming he even had a script and didn't just wing it.

There's a lot wrong with this video but what really gets me is the chimping about the subtitles. All debates about whether or not unsubtitled scenes are effective or meaningful aside, he seemed to legitimately think that the creators didn't know better. As if he didn't realize that not putting in subtitles in this movie was a very deliberate move. He seems to think that they didn't realize, forgot, or made it up to hide a plot twist.

Some quotes about subs from the first 20 minutes:
"Okay, what the fuck? This is one of the most rookie mistakes that you can make.
"...a language that literally no one can understand. You made it up and you don't think to add in subtitles?"
"You can't just throw the story like that out completely"
"I don't know her name because FUCK SUBTITLES. AMIRITE?"
"If you have to hide a twist by flat out removing what people are saying... [rage continues]"
"Has any other movie pulled this card?"
"Conveying things to your audience isn't optional!"

I think this guy may not have watched any grown up movies or shows with untranslated portions. I'm really confused that he's pointing it out like he's never seen it before. Its such a common thing.
Bit of trivia: If you've ever watched the Iron Man movie (if you haven't, go watch it, because it's awesome), toward the beginning of the movie the protagonist Tony Stark is kidnapped by some terrorists that give their demands via video. If you happen to speak the language that the terrorists are speaking, you'd have the entire movie spoiled for you because they literally give out the twist in their demands. However, if you don't speak said language, you'd just think it was generic murder terrorist crap because, y'know... no subtitles. I imagine Enter wouldn't grasp the significance of this though if he saw it.

... Oh, who am I kidding? I don't think Enter watches anything that isn't animated and involves ponies.

His whining about Milo being a kid. I think it's obvious by this point that Entard, despite being childish, doesn't understand them. Yeah, I know some of it's due to poor writing on the filmmaker's part, I won't deny that one bit. But Milo's still a kid, of course he'll make excuses to why he needs his mom

Wait, Enter seriously got mad at a kid for missing their parents?
I think he's injecting a little too much of his personal life into his reviews now that he's ranting about this kind of stuff.

Oh yeah, he did. Quite a bit too.

It's like he thinks the movie's real and wants it dead. And that's pretty fucked up, even by Enter standards.

Enter is actually a much better reviewer if you don't think of him as trying to be funny. Like, I agree with the majority who say that he isn't funny, but he never really struck me as attempting to be. Like yeah I'll notice the occasional joke (most of which fall flat), but for the most part he seems to be trying to be more like Roger Ebert and less like Doug Walker. I actually think Enter has a lot of potential as a critic and he can make some decent criticisms when he wants to, but his ego keeps him from improving too much. Although, in my opinion, this was one of his better reviews. Most of his criticisms are legitimate, and a fair amount of his jokes actually work. He still has a ways to go before he could actually be considered a legitimate critic, but he at least tries to improve. He just needs to stop taking cartoons too seriously and shut the fuck up about Spongebob for once in his goddamn life.

Literally all of his points are him taking the film way too personally or is something someone else has already said.

Also, as an Ebert fan, Enter is not even fucking close to the insightful man that Ebert was.

Enter's insight is worse than the person he's inspired by (whomever that is). So comparing him to Ebert seems a little unfair.

I didn't mean Ebert specifically, I meant a serious, non-humorous critic. Maybe Ebert wasn't the best name to use. Yeah I can see now why that'd get downvoted. I was NOT comparing Ebert and Enter.
