Power could go out, the track could be fucked up due to wear and tear, a blackout could happen. A roller coaster getting stuck isn't an impossible task. Hell there is a website dedicated to the fact that amusement park rides fuck up all the time.

Well, this is the guy that insisted that whales don't eat plankton because Finding Nemo taught him they eat krill only, don't expect research from him

It's been a while since I've watched it, but did Finding Nemo even actually say that whales eat krill and nothing else?

I looked up the quote. Dory says "Whales don't eat clownfish, they eat krill."

Notice how she doesn't say they only eat krill.

The lesson, folks: don't take lessons in marine biology from Pixar films, especially from a character who's supposed to be kind of ditzy.

Oh, but Enter learns everything from animation. He learned how to be a regular person through MLP, fo reelz guis!!1!

Well, that's just one more reason I don't give a fuck about Finding Nemo and never will - eh, Pixar's overrated, anyways... There need to be someone who can challenge them, because Dreamworks clearly can't, nor can anyone else, in terms of storytelling and character memorability. Off-topic, I know, but I feel as a Western animation fan, it's something to worry about after awhile!

Still, for me, anyway - this was better time wasted than harping on a POS Easy Target like Rocket Power, if I must be really honest with all of you.

I'd almost like to see Enter talk about Finding Nemo - too bad he won't do a good job ever convincing me to change my mind about it as of late...

I have to agree, I mean I have nothing against the company, but I feel they've really been overblown in regards to popularity.

Back on topic, that review did have a few good points (then again, I didn't really care for Rocket Power when it was on). But at the same time, there were plenty of flaws. That whole "Repeated footage" thing gets overplayed to the point where I just had to listen to the review audio-only. On top of that, his tangents get pretty bad and frequent. And the comparisons to Sanjay and Craig seemed to exist only because he hates the show.

I will give him this though, it's short.

Exactly, how exactly does Sanjay and Craig "oozes with 2010's"?
I'd say "edgy" remakes of fairy tales/child stories are going to be a mark of the late 2000's early 2010's, not fart jokes and dude-bros being dicks.
Yeah, weren't the latter two long standing traditions in fiction?

An infamous fandom where MrEnter is only the tip of the iceberg. MLP will likely be remembered, but not for the reasons people would expect. Things like this are hard to forget.

*sigh*

To some extent, though, the stuff it's based around is still in the culture, so it's not as dated as, say, a cartoon from the 70s that features disco or CB radios prominently.
I recall a few of those in my childhood. I thought Disco and CB Radios were cool.

Hey, speaking of the Twitter post @KFC linked to: having looked it up, it is possible for a roller coaster to get stuck on a loop.

Besides, this is a pretty typical cliche as well; why not just let it slide? Oh, yes... "realism."
The pilot/first episode of the classic Fox series "Get A Life" had that premise covered.

Cartoons MUST have logic, guys.
The idea that kids could run the world is entirely silly and unrealistic, given how most of them lack the maturity or wisdom to make long-lasting decisions that would benefit a country in the long run nor can they be trusted not to turn petty incidents into international catastrophes, Growing Around.

Growing Around might work as a good dystopian story or some KND-like story but not the way Enter has it.

This one wasn't bad. Rocket Power had a very early-mid 90s feel with bright colors and what old people thought kids were saying during that time, so it was pretty dated (the show aired August 1999)
This and his Captain Planet one did this thing where he explained how kids felt, and he was right. I mean, the carnival at school cliche is pretty bad, or maybe I went to the only three schools in the world that never had surprise carnival day. I talked about that other guy where you need to view these with the mentality of the target audience, and that's what he did.
He's still a weird dude, but he's got some brains when it comes to reviewing kids shows.
