Sad, the easy targets of the 70's and 80's are goldmine for the taking.

What about Rubik, The Amazing Cube? The only time I could think of where it's central cast included Latino kids.
Mighty Man and YUKK! (there's a stinker with an interesting concept of a dog-like character we're spared from seeing his horrid face).
I think that's enough examples to show that there's a whole world of bad animation out there.
If you put in all the crappy Disney ripoffs and stuff, like Dingo Pictures, the list would grow ever higher. But as we all know he doesn't want to do searching for topics. Not at all.

Shame. It certainly takes research to notice this at all.
If a show didn't pander at all, it would just be, well, there. For example, what would a show like Sesame Street be like if it didn't pander to little kids? Just a weird puppet show. Granted, many people who aren't little kids like it, but it can get away with that. Many other shows can't, so they have to pander, at least slightly.
Sad, but true - and I'm not even slightly a fan of such stuff... Too bad without it, a lot of good cartoons would never have lasted, the harder one thinks and researches about it.
I remember seeing both of these - Hell, I even looked up Disco Droopy on YouTube - that shit could use a good beating, IMHO - just not from Entard. He ain't capable... As for Disco Droopy... Why do I feel like crap for even sitting thru 2 minutes of that??? I can't believe I thought this looked good as the naive 11-year old boy I once was. And don't get me started on that Chuck Norris cartoon - I caught that once on Boomerang and all I could think of was why Norris showed up in a bath robe at the end of it all - fuck if that didn't make me uncomfortable, TBH.

Filmation's handling of T&J was insipid.
That's not the only one, after all, their versions of Star Trek and Ghostbusters exist.
Filmation's Ghostbusters had nothing to do with the real Ghostbusters. (Besides, I've seen it and it was actually decent; and their take on Star Trek had the original cast!)
But, oy, their Tom and Jerry... people like to claim the H&B take when they were friends was the worst, but I strongly disagree. At least that was entertaining.

I saw both as well, they're not too bad and certainly you have to give some merit to their Star Trek series.
That one at least didn't have what I call "retarded Devo" music, though I recall those cartoons being mixed with the original T&J's when they were syndicated in the 80's as with the Filmation crop.
True. Course I didn't have to look up some of my examples since I've been there.
Different strokes, I guess. But you do have to remember that one was used in Sonichu, while the other had horrid color choices.
I think I'm one of the only ones who think they both sucked. Though the H&B one did have some slightly better animation than Filmation's take. That isn't saying much mind you (given that both are cheap as rocks), but still.
Oh, by now I think that's common knowledge. But of course, this is Enter. Odds are he either doesn't give two shits about it, or, as you said, too lazy to find anything that isn't SpongeBob or MLP related. Maybe a little of both even.
I think he actually doesn't care and has seen it considering in his top 11 things he wouldn't review video, He mentions that all 80's cartoons that are toybased and racist 50's cartoons are products of their time. It is possible that he has seen Bucky and Pepito and wrote it off as a product of its time along with anything else that is bad from those days.
I was trying to tell you about what I believe is Enter's bullshit opinion not what I think about the cartoons in the 80's and the 50's. I've seen Bucky and Pepito and it was bland as heck after I saw a 12 child on SBMaina claim that it was worse than Breadwinners after a troll posted a thread claiming that Breadwinners was the worst cartoon. Since this cartoon was mentioned by a child, we are given further proof that Mr. Enter doesn't know anything about animation. If a child can know more about animation than this so called "professional" then we know he is screwing up big time. I already know the difference between Hanna-Barbera and Sam Singer. I am not an expert of animation but I can tell that Sam Singer is the Ed Wood of animation.

Wouldn't surprise me. He just doesn't have the right frame of mind.
Jay Ward's integrity certainly aged well.
I know a few who have stated that about Singer, and it does show in his work (though Courageous Cat & Minute Mouse was the more accessible of them all).
I personally think Jack Kinney was the Coleman Francis of animation myself, mainly for his Popeye cartoons he had to do for King Features in the 60's. Here's a fine example!
