Ever since this thread has been returned to my attention I've tried to dig up some more possible leads on James. Nothing clear has come up, but some people on 4chan appear to be rather insistent that his newest moniker is MythAbyss (NSFW), an artist who mostly draws big butts. And honestly, I see the similarities in art styles.

Another point in favor of the theory is that MythAbyss appears to have surfaced on the Internet in April 2020, which is around the same time that Cloud_Fountain went dark. His last post was on May 4 (nasty fart porn warning, obviously), and he's been gone since. If Cloud_Fountain really was James, then it's certainly an interesting coincidence. That said, I've never been particularly convinced that Cloud_Fountain and James are one and the same, so who knows.

So that adds yet another one to the pile of usernames who may or may not be James. We've got Cloud_Fountain, Neuroddic, LolWutBurger, and now MythAbyss.

He could be me, he could be you, he could be any of us.

People that create a new account and immediately start drawing competent looking stuff and open up commisions already outed themselves as someone who's done this before. I can't remember where I read this but it's been said that James is still in that community, and regularly talks to fart artists, so even if all of these accounts turn out to be someone else, it's guaranteed that he still draws fart doodles for discord circlejerks.

Yeah, that MythAbyss lead was fairly solid. More convinced that's him with the giveaway that he insisted on drawing sonic shit multiple times. That's also why I suspected Neurodicc since his last video just had to be a sonic parody. (There's some key similarities in how sonic is drawn in that one and how he looked in his earlier works too) Plus the connection of Cloud_Fountain's style and Neurodicc's style being pretty much the same.

I miss Jamey boy dearly, if there's any possibility this mysterious upload that was alluded to is saved by anybody, they need to come forward. For the greater good.

Now I just hope Myth doesn't suddenly fall off the map now that he's namedropped here. I'm pretty sure that's what happened last time with Cloud.

Lolwutburger is the one with the most superficially similar artstyle to old James, but after further research he's pretty unlikely to be him. That guy has Internet presence dating way back under the same username, including on this very site (@lolwutburger). Him talking about losing a Twitter account with 3,000 followers seems to be referring to an older account of his under the name @LolwutLWB.

With Cloud_Fountain and Neuroddic I've just never been really convinced because it all seems to be a conspiracy born in 4chan. The artstyles don't really match at all, and the supposed evidence comes from apparently analyzing the way he draws fart clouds in his art pieces. Because I don't have severe autism, I'm not gonna scrutinize some sperg's fart porn drawings to conclude if they're the same as another sperg's, but even then, I really don't see the similarity.

This inmediately raised red flags because who the fuck even remembers C-Students enough to draw porn of its characters years after the fact? He's certainly got the style down pat, too. Going on a brief walk down the dude's account revealed he's some loli and shota loving pedofork who debuted in 2017. He's also apparently dark-skinned, like James. Don't think it's him, but it's all rather suspicious.

It really is nothing but a wild goose chase, but he's been gone for more than two years now, so all that we can do in search of new content is autistic sleuthing and gayops because he was a hilarious lolcow and we miss him.
