A completely foreign culture, made by japanese with their established asiatic values holds a great deal of pressure on western social sphere of art (as well as lack of thereof, because people who have soft spot for conservative art, if they become weebs - they destroy their creativity).
Surely your average imageboard posting weeb would be very quick to rebuke that with how degraded western culture is, and that justifies why he can't stop masturbating on drawings of prepubescent children. What's important about their psychological approach to such arguments is that their own opinion is as much degrading to our culture as foreign refugees or overseas influence, making people into accepting into their own hearts ideas that if not evolve in their own actions - somebody will be inspired to try out "real thing" from their exposure to weeb culture. After many years of existence of 4chan there was a claim that japanese culture has heavy influence on them, because of that they should stay loyal to modern japanese art as part of their identity. What happened is that modern japanese art degraded into sexual orgy of insane amount of semi-pornographic material, as well as highly pornographic degenerate material that nowadays endangers japanese themselves as their demography is falling and birthrates are tumbling down. And huge part of that pornographic material, as well as memes and culture related to it such as "pedobear" - were lolicon and other hentai subgenres of similar kind. They think their defense of such pornographic materials is literally their duty, because they actually believe its part of their culture. Not only it is not true and there are japanese imageboards that ban such things, but japanese culture taken hostage huge amount of semi-conservative and right winged communities by making them accept content that becomes highly illegal across many countries in the world.
Not only that was a problem, why its always imageboards that end up posting "real thing" on their websites? Why during Fredrick Brennan's days of 8chan it was acceptable? Because anime community subjecting themselves to defend lolicon, shown complete ignorance of real pedophiles getting inspired by anime and even at some point trying to create philosophy of its acceptance through hebephilia even before constantly descending western world tried writing articles about it.
Surely you would say i am wrong in admitting such point of view, but art can be inspiring. That's why we in western world loved to cherish our art, and fiction, as inspiration for good deeds - courage, will and justice. So with the degenerate art, it inspires people to do degenerate things, and unless weeaboo culture is removed from our society, we can't really honestly fight against real threat without strain of hypocrisy in our minds. And trust me, that low amount of so called "good" japanese animes, video games and mangas not featuring prepubescent children or questionable sexual content is extremely low, and usually used as defense for their culture, when in reality speaker for those usually returns to wanking minutes later after talking to you. Because they are niche, barely popular and their flat chested waifus they worship and buy figurines of are everything to them. Anime and japanese asiatic acceptance of lower age of consent is a pedobait that keeps on giving, and corrupts people's sense of justice and even gives wrong idea of free speech.
At very least we need to motivate people to stop allowing lolicon and similar content on their websites, so they understand value of inspirations, and motivate people for good deeds instead.
