Lmao this is the future they clearly wanted but now they realize it goes against their own personal agendas. No one's happy about this at all, but they specifically get what they fucking deserve.
I remember when I first heard Crunchyroll, I never would have thought it would get the amount of “success” that it has received over the last decade. Only thing I surmised from this is that I need to step up my torrenting game up.![]()
Sony is buying anime streaming service Crunchyroll from AT&T for $1.175 billion
AT&T has been shopping around Crunchyroll for some time.www.theverge.com

Why do we still have to remind ourselves of the Joker meme during situations like this? I don’t even know many people that actually like or use Funimation.Lmao this is the future they clearly wanted but now they realize it goes against their own personal agendas. In Umineko, Bernkastel is referred to as the "Witch of Miracles" and constantly talks about miracles throughout the entirety of Umineko. My little pet theory revolving around Gou now that I've finished Umineko is that this is Bernkastel's origin story and that Lambdadelta has something to do with Satoko. It's a very dumb theory, but it'll at least justify the nothingburgers that these episodes have been so far.View attachment 1780206
Why does she have the crazy eyes while saying this? Jesus, Passione.
We're entering "Massacre" territory, but it's still the "Curse-Deceiving" arc, so I'm trying to think ahead as to where the biggest change could occur. Best bet I got is perhaps Ooishi could successfully talk Keiichi out of further pursuing antagonizing child welfare, as when I did a rewatch of Kai not that long ago, I noticed that moment was rather convincing in that it could've caused a split in the timeline.

I'm gonna need someone to confirm this for me since I'm still relatively blind to Umineko past the anime and the manga adaptation of "Banquet of the Golden Witch". "Kiseki" has been used in Higurashi mainly during Kai especially "Massacre" (that's where it was much more prominent), so how is it more of Bernkastel's arc?
Unless we are watching Bernkastel this entire time? At the end of "Dice-Killing", Rika mentioned to Hanyuu that the "other" Rika who had the ball thrown at her head had died when she got transported there, so when she returned to her happy ending, her "other self" she deemed as Bernkastel was left behind so she could live as Rika. Apparently Bernkastel was cast away, free to roam as she pleases. Though why would Hanyuu return to her if she was to remain by Rika's side?
So was it more Bernkastel who would talk about miracles, or was it Rika?
Oh yeah, she is. But like, she doesn't act like it--unless that happens much later on in Umineko and that's heavy spoilers don't tell meeeee. Bernkastel's apathy had to have come from somewhere, though, so maybe fingers crossed that's what this season's doing? In Umineko, Bernkastel is referred to as the "Witch of Miracles" and constantly talks about miracles throughout the entirety of Umineko.
We can only hope that the Answer Arcs or at least the end of Tatari/Minadamashi-hen picks up the shit. I liked the direction that this direction went and I can probably speculate how things are going to go next week, but god it's been slow so far for this arc.Oh yeah, she is. Really how is Sony owning CR worse then AT&T owning it? Warner Bros pandered to wokies too y'know? This really sucks. HDIVE is the only one left and that's not going to last because who is going to lease out titles to them when Sony has all the anime under its belt and can now force standards and politics? Ugh, disgusting. Luckily Blu-Ray is the thing that sells anime and make it money, not streaming. I guess it could be worse, Disney+ could own anime.
I think Rika's pretty much insane by this point.View attachment 1780206

Just watched the fourth season of Prisma Illya after remembering I never finished it (I think that was after I heard it becomes the Shirou show). It's still pretty good and heartwarming, though I forgot how blatant is the fanservice is. Next stop is the Shirou movie and from what I understand there will be another movie which will finish the plot.
That fight was awesome, but yeah afterwards the epic fights take longer to show and it's very much constant humour and fanservice. The first season had the epic Saber Alter fight but the second season was just softcore loli hentai and I dropped it at that point.
Mappa did Dorohedoro and is currently doing Jujutsu Kaisen. I don't think they'll cgi it, but I hope they keep the color palette the manga covers had instead of turning it too dark and grimy, at least for the OP.Chainsaw man is reportedly getting an adaptation via Studio Mappa. I've really been enjoying CSM this year, and while I've heard Mappa has their hit or miss moments they seem to generally have their act together. Hopefully whatever they put out captures some of the gritty oddball feel of the manga.

Welcome To The NHK is a lot more timely right now if you look at the Deep Thoughts Spedsidential Election Thread and 2020 Election Day Megathread. While I’m thankful I watched it earlier this year, I have to finish watching it because I was a third way through the anime.
