I thought Takano was LamdaDelta.
Sort of. Takano was her piece. They're separate entities, but Lambda is "sponsoring" her as a character on the game board so to speakI thought Takano was LamdaDelta.
If Kentaro Miura had a patreon I'd be an automatic $10 patron. Too bad the Japanese just hate making money, I guess.unironically the way to go would be pay the scanlators a bit for their effort, pay the author more directly to produce more content. some patreons already make crazy cash, there are absolutely enough people willing to throw money at their entertainment. and it gets even crazier when it comes to smut.
That's actually more true than you probably think. If Kentaro Miura had a patreon I'd be an automatic $10 patron. Too bad the Japanese just hate making money, I guess.
Don't live your life like me, Kamille
I think his first mistake was to have a studio that farms most of their work to China, Jakarta and Thailand animate this version. Because at least Re:Zero has the excuse of being both, nearly 30 minutes and trying to tell a story, even if it's padded as shit. What's Passione's excuse for making Gou without a second ED animation? Can you even call it a twist if they give it away in the fucking OP? Lol.
I guess this is what I get for being too slow to catch up to Umineko. Still is garbage, though. Even the club reunion was garbage, they literally recycled an actual game they did in the series down to the punishments and who got them and admitted it in the show. Couldn't even come up with anything else.
Also lol still no ED credits with any art or nothing. I've noticed a pattern that anime series that tend to play credits over the footage but no OP/ED music, or have the theme song put over the footage but not have it properly lead into the OP itself (the way WataMote did it was godtier btw) all have pacing issues and some of those shows were even just lazily-put together. Gou has done this way too many times for my liking that it's honestly one of the negative points against it because you just do not skip the OP of anything Higurashi ever, but its issues go so much deeper than that. The fuck is Ryukishi even doing? Does he even know what he's doing anymore?
So what is really canon? This or the first Higurashi? And why the fuck it is a prequel to an anime adaption that sucks? While I saw the "secretly an Umineko prequel" a mile away, I do find it a little lame that it ended up this way.
The whole series somehow feels like one of those "reunions" for old sitcoms where you can tell that none of the cast really want to be there, except with the fictional characters.
That being said, at least the VAs seem to having fun, getting their chance to act out L5.
The anime that sucks was based on a then still in progress visual novel. Just like Higurashi was a VN first. Deen butchered the storytelling and tried to make their own answers that would contradict what the actual answers in Umineko were. The actual Umineko VN is pretty good.So what is really canon? This or the first Higurashi? And why the fuck it is a prequel to an anime adaption that sucks?
Jesus this is one of those sequels where everything had already wrapped up perfectly but the call of muh shekels is too great to be ignored. What the fuck, if Satoko's apparently a looper now with the goal of "keep Rika", why the fuck did she allow herself to get fucked over into ptsd by her uncle (don't try to claim "it's inevitable" like Rika being dissected)? All the loops we've seen are shit, and Satoko's doing a shitty job of being a time looper with a goal.
It is kinda weak. For me their best work (that I've seen at least) has been Little Witch Academia. It balances the plot and comfy stuff better than KLK.I was doing a studio trigger marathon and I just finished wathing BNA, I have to say that I find this one to be their most disappointing show
I thought the first episode was good, I like the animation, the designs and the characters, but the big problem the show has is that the pasing is just bad, it just moves from plot point to plot point without much breathing room, it feels like they had the show planned for 24 episodes and then they just got the budget for 12
I enjoyed it, but man, does it feel rushed, definitely my least favorite show from trigger after kiznaiver
Yes, her whole motive after dying for what could be considered hundreds of years was just "I want to fucking live past being 11 and also grow boobs." A good enough wish if you've been fucking gutted over and over. AND THEN when Satoko's gutting her in Gou she says "this is totally because I wanted to leave the village isn't it" NO, RIKA, NO IT'S NOT.Come to think of it, wasn't Rika's original motivation " I want to live and be with my friends and get titties", not "I want to leave the village"? Am I crazy or is this another retcon?
I agree, I liked LWA quite a bitIt is kinda weak. For me their best work (that I've seen at least) has been Little Witch Academia. It balances the plot and comfy stuff better than KLK.
That's actually more true than you probably think.
Unlike American corporations, who are driven by the desire to profit more at all costs, the Japanese aren't motivated into action by chasing ever-increasing revenue. It's not to say that they don't want to make more money - I'm sure all businesses do - but they want to make more money their way, and if they just don't "feel like" doing something, they're not going to, even if it has insane profit potential.
