Yep it still annoys me how they call Castlevania an anime and how many people are up their own ass because Netflix's marketing team said so.
It both is an annoyance to anime fans and enthusiasts of animation how good western animation has to be marked with anime as though it was a sacred label.

It's funny in trying to animate something well and have it taken seriously is ruined by the half-assed false advertising. In comparison to actual anime, it just falls apart because Netflix originals can't pace or write for shit where an anime is adapting a manga. Just look at Invincible and how it is compared to something like Trese or Castlevania: Animation is lacking a lot, but the show overall stands on its own two feet without being labeled 'Totally Anime, Retarded Normie.'

It's pretty funny really. Western animation is associated with one of 3 things nowadays: Children's shows, toilet humor and gross designs, and woke garbage.
I'll have to check Nyaa tonight for that so I can see it with subs. I'm curious what they'll do with the Africa bit because didn't they pretty much wipe out the majority of the French resistance there in like the first 10 minutes of the movie?

I'd watch that, even though I've never been one for even JP live action remakes of shows. I imagine it would either be really cool with real tanks, or a CGI mess.

American animation is virtually non-existent outside of Disney and Pixar because all the TV shows are either outsourced or only animated in Canada.
That or South Korea.
Japanese animation is increasingly outsourced as well, though.
The anime changed up the climax of the “chase down Nagatoro” chapter from the manga, but I think it still fit really well for what they were going for. Pulled back a bit on the comedy of the situation and went a bit more dramatic. If next week is the last episode(not sure if we’re get a 12 or 13 episode series), I hope we get a second season. There’s enough in the manga currently for one, and I think in total(if this bit of the manga is the last big part), you could conceivably do three seasons.
How true is this? I was actually going to give abortion’s a second chance since I only read the manga in the beginning, but I never had the chance to watch it in full
I never got into watching it. I was satisfied where Naruto ended. Having the story continue with the next generation just opens up way too many opportunities to undo what was accomplished in the original storyline just by existing. Had it just been a sorta slice of life with ninjas, thing, I could see it working, but that’s clearly not what they were going for.
Also, Boruto didn’t grab me as a character from what I’ve seen and just kinda comes across as a shit.
Never gonna claim Naruto was some amazing perfect manga, but I really enjoyed it for what it was. I skipped a lot of the anime since it had its own issues, but I was satisfied with its ending.

I'm NGL, I'd say the anime did better than the manga.
For the sake of the story and all, yeah. Though I do think the fall in the manga came across as more dangerous and dramatic.

I've heard the anime has a shit ton of filler, especially when you consider that the manga is monthly, there isn't enough content to adapt.
I never watched or read it personally, but I remember at one point that they were having a Back to the Future arc.

It's basically about a crazy ass human with a magic book, who seeks revenge on the one who wronged him by saving vampires.
Made by the creator of Pandora Hearts. Has Fantastic world building, Great characters, nice fights and probably the best vampire story's ive read in a while.
Also Bitching wifus.
Oh and there's a whole order of Hellsing style, vampire exterminating priests, so that's a plus.

I like the pool more compared to the tree setting in the manga, it feels a bit less cliché & somehow suits Nagatoro more. Also the water splashing feels more cuter than the light punching.

Nagatoro is just wholesome as hell. I can't really think of anything else to add about the show.
One thing I'm too lazy to check is if they changed the president's painting. The painting in the anime looks like the proportions are even more fucked up.
In the manga no, but yeah it's like they made Prez a lot shorter and then made her ass fatter like it's someone doing shortstack fanart
I'm still waiting for that shit hitting the fan moment like Pandora Hearts had where the series sucked me in, currently Vanitas just seems like it's building to that something. The series is enjoyable enough, but it hasn't hooked me yet like Pandora Hearts did. Noe is super cute though and I'm dreading the wringer the author is bound to put him through if Oz's journey says anything, let alone the suffering train inbound on probably most of the cast.
Really, I just hope that the anime might make them look into doing a full adaption of Pandora Hearts because that series really deserves it even if it might not be able to pull off the same heights.
