Wasn't James Corden's acting in the Emoji Movie one of the things people panned the most (outside of the obvious criticisms)? Sony's really doubling down on "not learning from our mistakes, ever".

I honestly can't see Watership Down being remade any time soon and not ending up as more CGI trash. Shit like Sing and Minions has become the standard for animation now and there's no way the people responsible for those could be given Watership Down and make anything remotely good out of it.
