Yeah the guy's videos are pretty decent, he has a quality that's lost on almost all political videos and even political satire of just making fun of anything instead of partisan shitslinging.

In truth, we're all a little bit left and a little bit right. I'm for gay marriage and gun rights, for example. Chances are the rest of us in this thread are all over the map on different issues that are only ever represented by one side of a mostly binary equation. Just because some candidates cross the lines on select issues is no answer, either.
"Centrism" is the only way a lot of people can classify themselves in a 2 party system that only truly offers you a choice in the form of choosing which important issues you can live with your candidate ignoring, because individual ideals must be placed somewhere along a political spectrum & we mustn't cross the streams,
The railing against 'Centrism' is mostly coming from the left, IMO. There's even a subreddit or two devoted to the running joke that Centrists are just closeted fascists, that if you don't go out of your way to denounce bad things, a Centrist is you,. This is anger attempting to pass itself off as humor and it is rooted in the subconscious realization & hatred that normal people won't go along with the extremism they've hitched themselves to. Expect Centrism to be more demonized, a low key insult (if it isn't already) in an increasingly less subtle push to get you to hurry up and choose which of your most important values to sacrifice. Ideally in time for the election, where your choice will be the same one it always has:
