Some context:
just-antithings is a blog that mocks antis by stating things antis have said or believe.
Many of the antis here are pointing out that fujoshi means 'rotten girl' as further evidence that fujoshis are bad. A bit of history on the term: The term fujoshi was coined on 2chan, meaning that any girl who likes fictional gay male couples must be rotten, too, since gay men are 'rotten'/disgusting. Fujoshi reclaimed it and started identifying with it. The origin/intent of the term is different from what antis claim it to be, where the people who created the term were the homophobic party and not the people the term was being applied to, so I just wanted to clarify that.

It's weird how people claim straight women liking gay men (and being open about their sexualities) have RUINED yaoi, yet don't blink an eye at people pretending to be transgender so they can become teh yaoiz. It's not like all these people are saying "Naruto and Sasuke are the REASON gay rights exist" (like 2012 Tumblr did with Sherlock) unironically... plus, not all "fujoshis" are actually straight or cis. It's a weird stereotype.

Also, why don't ANY of these people know about graphic design? And why do they use Voltron -which isn't even an anime - as "mascots" for their anti-yaoi blogs? They're often the same people who scream from the rooftops "SHEITH IS CANON PRECIOUS GAY BABBIES AND IF U THINK OTHERWISE UR HOMOPHOBIC uwu". It's the same shit, just with western animation. It's not much different than typical fujoshi behaviour.

Finally a thread where I feel like I can contribute something. Anti-fangirls are my favorite flavor of retardation.

I'm too lazy to go digging for receipts, but my favorite salt blog for this shit is https://huntypastellance.tumblr.com/. They're mainly Voltron focused, since Voltron antis are known for this shit.

Highlights include: A blogger being sent graphic rape threats from an irl stalker who knew their real name because they shipped an 18 year old character with a ~25 year old character, an anti stealing hundreds of dollars from a charity project to buy voltron merchandise, antis targeting a voice actor because she made a joke about sheith and reblogged a "problematic" post on her personal blog, and targeting yet another voice actor with accusations of pedophilia because he wouldn't agree with their retarded ideology about shipping.

There's bound to be much more. This is just a list of stuff I could think of off the top of my head. The Voltron fandom is prolific for this kind of shit- it's like a train wreck I just can't look away from.

Like that sped in the OP who was saying that shounen-ai is to homophobia what JAWS was to shark poaching. Yeah, except JAWS obviously portrayed sharks unsympathetically as antagonists, whereas the gay characters in BL are almost always protagonists. Also, JAWS was an extremely popular, mainstream film, whereas fujoshi are a pretty niche phenomenon even in Japan.
