Anti-Westerners in the West - LOL SJW Hate The West

As you can see, in recent years, there has been a rise of 'Anti-Westerner' in the West: From the free market hating communists, to the SJW who support Maduro just because he is 'anti-USA'.
But why? What could make a westerner, born and raised in the west hemisphere, hates where they originated from so much, to the point that they would rather support a cold blood dictator without second thought?
Also, if they really hate the west so much, why can't they just move to other countries that don't belongs to the west?

My answer depends on what your definition of "hate" is since, currently, it seems the internet thinks any form of constructive critique is actual hatred and not something adults do when they discuss complex subjects.

So first, I'd respectfully ask for you to qualify what you consider to be a "hatred of the West."

The system fucks them back and they end up alone without children, a tranny, or an hero. This issue seems self limiting.

I consider the hate as in 'fuck this country' but without a solid reason to back up the hate. Basically those people who say they hate ameeica because 'those damn rich people' or 'those wipepo'

Many of these advances came about because of people agitating against an existing system. The 40 hour work week, our current wages, the fact that a 10 year old isn't expected to risk having their limbs torn off at a saw mill, all came from people who critiqued the laws and social mores of the time. It also came with a hell of a lot of bloodshed.

This is why I've asked OP to qualify what "hatred of the West" means.

Thank you for answering my question in good faith. I have a follow up question, if you don't mind. When you say "a solid reason", what would be a "solid reason" to you? Does their reasoning need to include, say, peer reviewed sources to back up their claims? What kind of evidence would you consider acceptable?

With regard to subjective experience, how many individuals would need to corroborate a particular "narrative" before it's considered valid?

I think it's also because people in Africa have identities that have been shaped over thousands of years into the present day.

I think because America is dominated by immigrant populations, the thirst for identity is so strong you see it just about everywhere. The same people who cry about cultural appropriation are those who, in their next breath, will claim to be Scottish despite having never been to the country nor studied any of its complex history. But they watched Braveheart and their great great Grandmother's sister's brother in law was from Scotland so they're totes Scottish too okay?

American pagan groups are often overrun with individuals who took a 23 and Me DNA test and claim to be Vikings off of a 2% Scandinavian heritage result. It's, in fact, so prevalent a television show was created based on this trend.

It's all very interesting to watch.

I think it's mostly due to the fact that they feel disaffected, and don't feel that they belong or fit in with their society. It's easy for such people to convince themselves that foreign cultures are better, because they probably won't have to live with the consequences of that belief possibly being wrong.

The easy life almost all westerners with the free time to shitpost online enjoy has been taken for granted. Yeah the west has problems but every place has always and will ever have problems. It’s just that if you’re sheltered, the west is judged by whatever street level injustices you can see outside your window and the rest of the world is judged by its tourist traps you see on instagram. When the sheer lack of material survival problems like food and clean water are so abundant and omnipresent that they get taken for granted, the society that produces those things loses its moral aspect.
Notice that all the attacks on the west are moral ones. Minorities getting oppressed, women not having parity in some job, art evoking some personal trauma or whatever. The material successes of western nations is ignored for moral shortcomings as compared to utopia.

Personally speaking, I think a lot of it stems from academia. In colleges especially, professors will sometimes make it a point to shame Western civilization, despite taking part of, and living in it. That said, no society or civilization is perfect, but I’d much rather live in Western society compared to somewhere like Saudi Arabia or India. There’s a reason people from other countries want to come to places like the USA, Australia, or Europe.

I think there's a lot of "FUCK YOU, DAD!" at play, with this one, mixed with some "grass is always greener" sentiment. They have all the imagination to think up a better world, but none of the gumption, smarts, or strength to get it done.
