With Wheeler in power, they have a small, but real non-zero chance of things actually going their way.
Considering that he barely squeaked in against the Antifa-aligned candidate, all it takes is one election to open the gates for an Antifa-led takeover of local government.
Of course, at that point, they won't be calling for abolition of government once they've gotten a taste of it- we'd be seeing the merging of CHAZ with a local government (with real legitimacy), and the weirdness and depravity that likely comes out of that.
This, Wheeler is small fry, if Antifa tries to aim beyond that, the Feds will likely crack down. Attack dogs are for enemies only, and must know their place.

Wheeler yes as he's a wimp, but I still feel like Cuomo will escape the justice he deserves, purely by strong-manning his way out of the PR mess & having CNN & the NYS government cover his ass.
I think these two instances boil down to being aggressive (Cuomo) vs being submissive (Wheeler) and controlling the narrative. I mean, Lipstick Alley still has a Cuomo simp thread, and apparently lots of normie Democrats seem to love how he's 'taken control of the issues'.

It's Antifa. They can surprise people on the street with a gun but they'd never have the balls to do it to a prominent target they've threatened beforehand (with the possible exception of Andy Ngo but I don't think he counts as prominent except to them).

It'd be pretty damn based if they actually made good on their threat tbh. Much as I despise the idea of mob rule it seems the better alternative to the slow stagnation and ass-reaming the government wants force on us for the foreseeable future.
