One thing I've noticed about asexuals on tumblr is, they always seem to use the asexual label as like a way to get extra special snowflake points. I mean, they could just be Lesbian or gay or demisexual or whatever, but why would they do that when they can be lesbian/gay/whatever AND Asexual, because apparently Asexual doesn't actually mean Asexual.

Also, I felt like sharing this post I found on a blog called "your fav is queer" (which is a pretty batshit insane blog in of itself, but that's another post for another time) which claims that a blank slate-esque character from a kids show that doesn't display sexuality or gender for obvious reasons is automatically genderless and asexual, even though the writers of said show most likely barely even know or care about said labels (also, sorry about the small text on the image, the picture of the bear attached to the tumblr post was ridiculously big so I had to zoom out in order to screenshot the whole thing)
