I projected once or twice-ish but not intentionally though it might not even be like the same kinda shit people hype up on it's always been weird to me how like people take minor anomalies and make fucking shitty massive communities about them with "instructions" on how to do it and it's almost 100% all clickbait shit. My ass went into 3rd person mode once or twice when I was a kid and I was like "damn that was kinda weird" when thinking about it much later on. Shits like sleep paralysis, or realizing you're dreaming while in a dream. it just happens and is fucking weird nobody knows completely how it works or what triggers it. Fuck, dreams themselves are weird shit to begin with because it's your subconscious brain cooking up hyper-realistic simulations where you gotta do all sorts of weird shit with completely original plotlines. I had a fucking dream where I ended up befriending some italian and palestinian mafia guys after being framed for murder once. It was realistic and fleshed out as hell but doesn't mean jack SHIT cause none of those people even existed in the first place.

I know but people seem to have differing definitions on what "lucid dreaming" is. I've seen some people pushing "guides" for it and saying it's dangerous also claim it's when you can control yourself in a dream and I'm slightly worried for those kinds of people that apparently don't have autonomy in their dreams.

It's all fucking stupid because all it takes for lucid dreaming is something to break your immersion within the dream. Your subconscious is still making the simulation thing and it doesnt play nice when you do it. One time I fucked around after realizing I was in a dream and some buff demon bastard kool-aid manned his way through the wall, pinned me to the floor and began just spouting legalese at me until I woke up. I think other people may or may not have had similar expriences to this, both the weird lack of power and the shit like the kool-aid devil or something equivalent to him. it's like a 50/50 shot if lucid dreaming is gonna throw weirder shit at you and not let you alter the simulation.

Haha. I know that feel.
I rarely ever lucid dream, rarely I'll notice something's up but then I get distracted or just shrug my shoulders.
One time I was trapped in some poorly textured cube, realized I was in a dream and no-clipped out but that was the only normal instance.
The other time it happened I was in a supermarket but some stupid nigger on reddit ruined it. A few days before they had posted that they always get worried when they lucid dream that they'll wake up and I immediately thought of that post. Some weird industrial noise started in the background and I knew the jig was up. I willed myself to fly to try and take control of the dream and was soaring over the supermarket aisles like Neo before I woke up.
