August 23, 2015: Phil is apparently educated on air to air combat. -

  • Intermittent Denial of Service attack is causing downtime. Looks like a kiddie 5 min rental. Looking into some solutions.

I didn't know Phil worked for Jane's, Lockheed or any sort of weapons school. When did he become an expert on air to air tactics or power projection?

It's weird that he assumes that all the money for these things comes from cis people. Taxes are paid by everyone. People who allocate funds can be gay or trans. This project is an American one, not a cis one.

Also, whether it's a decent airplane or not, the only reason he posted this was to say MiGs are good because of his commie fetish.

So Phil is factually incorrect, an idiot, and has weird fetishes. Just another day in the Potatxverse.

He's just parroting what some smarter person said, as per usual.

Everyone who's been following this agrees the F-35 is lackluster- it's merely a question of degree.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not defending the F-35, I've had A-10's save my ass a few times. But Phil? Phil wouldn't know an SU-37 from a fishbed.

Well, duh, dipshit. F35 is the stealth fighter. It's not meant to take on a MiG.

That's why we still got the motherfucking F15E STRIKE EAGLE and other F15 types still in production. Those are meant to engage in fighter interception operations and despite being a 1976 model originally, is expected to last in service well past 2025 and production is still ongoing until 2019.

So, yeah, why should the F35 do something we already have the perfect solution for? Oh, right, you wanted to post a video and bitch about something now you're not homeless for the moment. Of course, if we sent an F35 coming for your ass, we'll see what your opinion is then.

And the ass Pat brigade comes into help feed his ego. Fwiw they fixed that issue with the Raptor.

They did? Last I heard the only solution to that problem was that they just stopped making F-22's.

That's what I heard. It was a glitch in the computer. Or, I could be wrong.

Biggest thing Phil doesn't realize, aircraft like the Raptor and -35 are meant to get in behind radar, engage targets before they are even noticed and to get the fuck out of dodge.

While yes, the -35 does have some serious issues, and is a gigantic boondoggle, it could easily take on any mig. It could possibly keep up with flankers.

I think (as others have stated)it's just Phil engaging in his little commie fetish.
