-18 raids, 14 arrests in Vienna and Lower Austria
-around 1TB of video material was uploaded via the police's wesbite
- after reviewing 50% of the uploaded material they came to the conclusion that there was only one perpetrator and no evidence to suggest a second one (????)

What the fuck happened to the multiple reports of confirmed shooters out the ass?

I'm confused too… they said the attack started at 8 PM and the attacker was shot at 08.09 PM...there were more than six locations and as seen on video, the perpetrator didn't run all the time. Is it possible that he could've done all that shit in only 9 minutes?

Look at a typical high profile mass shooting in Burgerland, you always get multiple shooters. Even here, most people can't tell the difference between a firecracker and a gun shot.

Add in a city with echos, social media nutters that just want asspats for attention, and people mistaking plain clothes police for shooters and this is the result.

The shooter was taken out 9 minutes after the initial call was made.

I know the locations and yes, they are close together, BUT he didn't sprint (at least not all the time).

Yeah, Nehammer said that they base their claims on the video evidence submitted by bystanders….Time will tell, maybe they don't want to jeopardize their ongoing investigations as there are raids now all over Austria.

Guy from Palestine working at a local McDonalds saved another shot cop (same link) at the Schwedenplatz where the shooting started. He is already known to austrian media because his family wanted to buy a house in a town nearby Vienna and got rejected by the local Bürgermeister (elected executive of a town) claiming western and muslim virtues and ideas can't fit together (they sued and the court ruled in the familys favor).

Yeah, for now I'll give them the benefit of the doubt that they're just trying not to reveal their hand.
However I do hope that we'll get some clarifying statements regarding that whole aspect.

His team's name is El Buhari (archive) and it's apparently not part of the league anymore. Looking further into the team I found the facebook page of the associated mosque (archive) - logos and names match.

A jog is easily double walking speed, bro. It is very doable to cover that distance in time. Also, the guy had a rifle. Where people were hit isn't where they were shot from. Even with irons you could take somebody down from a block away.

I don't know. Given the layout of the first district you'd have to be fairly close to a lot of places. Plus him leisurely walking/backtracking in some of the videos in addition to the fact that he was decked out in gear according to Nehammer would make that fairly impressive IMO.

Austria's goerment is middle-right wing. They had a more far right goverment a year ago (I think) but a new election kicked out the far right group out of the goverment. Now they are ruled by a conservative -green (out of all things) goverment. But Austria is very restrictive on immigration due to incidents after Merkel's "Wir schaffen das!". Well maybe Germany will also take a slight turn right next year if Friedrich Merz will become the candidate of the CDU. But i get the feeling that the whole of europe is slowly truning right due to the latest terror attacks. I mean Denmark has a left wing goverment and they are pretty restrictive on immigration and access to social security for immigrants / refugees

My post is not about Austria. Its about Western Europe* as a whole.

Europeans don't have kids so in order to maintain the oh so precious welfare and workers/consumers, you guys need more people, people who will have kids. Those people come in large numbers and are not liberal cause liberalism is what destroys the birth rate.

You guys want to assimilate them cause otherwise they will impose their own culture and society onto you but you have the problem of that such thing is racist, imperialist, whatever. Thus multiculturalism is what has to happen which leads to this result.

Whats especially funny is that so what if they go liberal? They will suffer the same fate of Europeans of having no kids and thus more migrants are needed.

This will lead to nothing but Europeans disappearing and their culture disappearing.

Also, going liberal means that the culture of these migrants gets destroyed despite liberals love going on about how all cultures are beautiful and how evil white men are for in this specific case cultural genocide. There is a reason leftists and liberals say the the West has no culture.

All I'm saying is that Europe made its choice, they would rather keep importing migrants and remaining liberal and leftist. So I say that they should accept the consequences and shut the fuck up.
