This is literally a problem for all industrialized nation including South Korea, eastern Europe and the whites in the United States. Even fucking Japan, one of the most xenophobic cultures on the planet are considering imigration at this moment. Its not just western Europe. Take your Euro hate elsewhere my dude.
I know dumbass. But this thread is about Europe. Hence I'm talking about Europe. There are reports that Men in Japan would rather stay single and keep their money then lose it to women.

And Japan is liberal in a way, women want to work and want to party and have career. There was talk of Japanese highschool girls doing prostitution and compensated dating. Trad Japan is not. This is an issue happening in China too as there is a video of a Chinese woman ranting that marriage is bullshit, children is bullshit, family is bullshit. Her father said that he sent her to college only for said college to make her dumb

Liberalism is not just about immigration.

So you have nothing to say but call me a retard. Such an amazing rebuttal

Let me explain my post then.

I know dumbass.
I acknowledged your point about South Korea and Japan, etc.

But this thread is about Europe. Hence I'm talking about Europe.
I then explained that my posts here in this thread have been mainly talking about Europe. Austria is part of Europe. And I quoted a person who was also talking about another country in Europe.

There are reports that Men in Japan would rather stay single and keep their money then lose it to women.
This is me informing about a report I read that men in Japan don't want to marry, they don't want to enter relationships at all and in the case of the quote from the report, it was because they wanted to keep their hard earned money for themselves. I brought this up cause you brought up Japan.

And Japan is liberal in a way, women want to work and want to party and have career. There was talk of Japanese highschool girls doing prostitution and compensated dating. Trad Japan is not.
This part is me talking about Japan and explaining that Japan is not a traditional conservative society. Its just xenophobic, that is all.

This is an issue happening in China too as there is a video of a Chinese woman ranting that marriage is bullshit, children is bullshit, family is bullshit. Her father said that he sent her to college only for said college to make her dumb
This is me also mentioning the the problems we are talking about also affect China.

Liberalism is not just about immigration.
This is self-explanatory.

Sir, this is an Arby's.
Don't care.

This is the person I made my original post with.

I don't know how hard it is to understand that EU is not a singular cultural entity in the same way that USA or Russia are. We don't have any real camaraderie, or even very much connection to what happens beyond our own nations borders, despite being superficially all part of the same pseudo-federation. Most of the Europeans don't understand the language of their neighbouring countries, and due to this, can't even reliably follow what happens in those neighbouring countries. Also, while anti-immigration sentiment has been growing steadily in the past ten years or so, most of the people will not change their voting patterns just because some muslims go on a rampage, mainly because they loathe and distrust the anti-immigration politicians even more than they hate the situation that is brewing up. And I can understand them; I didn't start to vote anti-immigrants of my country even though my city had a terrorist attack some years ago, simply because I will not be intimidated to give power to people who are objectively idiots and who, apart from anti-immigration push for politics that are stupid, conservative and fucking backwards.

In short, since most European voters on ideological grounds oppose bringing back some outdated christian moral conservatism and right-wing identity politics, very little will change in the near future. If anti-immigration parties would wisen up and keep their anti-immigrant stance but drop all the conservative, anti-gay, anti-EU and especially pro-religious moral ideas, they might get to power and things might change. Since anti-immigration stance is heavily married to all that shite, most voters will not even consider them as an option, as even though there are real problems with the muslim immigration, those opposing it come with a package that is a no-sell.

Look at that. All about Europeans which is what I was talking about.

Have the calls for stricter gun control started yet?
Nah, quite the opposite.

There was a shitstorm against the vice-mayor of Vienna (Green Party) Ms. Hebein, because before the Election the Green Party wanted to disarm the police force:

"According to the Vienna Green Party, it is not necessary that police officers always have to carry firearms with them. At least this is the result of a response from the party on the online platform "wahlkabine.at". Criticism comes from the opposition.
The corresponding question was: “Should the Viennese police, with the exception of special units, do their duty without a firearm?” The Greens answered in the affirmative and justified: “Fortunately, Vienna is so safe that the Viennese police only rarely use firearms.
Carrying a firearm outside of special forces does not seem necessary. "

People were spamming her twitter / Facebook and told her to shut the fuck up after she thanked the police for their service.

Two turks saved an old woman and a cop who was shot (german link).
They wanted to go out before the new lockdown and got into the middle of the whole mess. One was injured while saving the cop.
Guy says in his video that the turkish muslims in Austria detest radical islamism - Erdogan is probably revoking their citizenship for that

The "two heroes of Vienna" were involved in the attacks by the "gray wolves" last summer against the Kurds and the left in Vienna.

Recep Gültekin on the terrorist attack in Berlin in 2016 on Facebook: "I'm not at all sorry about what happened in Berlin".

Mikail Özen makes the hand signal of the gray wolves and has his name written on a bomb that is being shot at the Kurdish city of Afrin.

Nehammer gave some updates:
-the people arrested in the raids were between 18 and 28 yo, all with immigration background and some without an Austrian citizenship
-they finished reviewing the uploaded video footage and it confirmed the theory of there being only one perpetrator
-doubts about the de-radicalisation program and how to treat cases of people that have not commited a crime yet have started to come up thanks to this
-the slovakian intelligence service informed the Office for Preotection of the Constitution and Counterterrorism (BVT) about the terrorist and his intent to arm himself some time ago
-he blames "communication errors" and wants to establish an investigative commission

No words about the whole "8 shooters" misinformation.

Austria is a beautiful little country. This is a damn shame. Even when I had visited in 2016 the Jewish section of the cemetery that buries some family was defaced by refugee kids.

Though it’s unclear whether the synagogue was a target, I wouldn’t be surprised.

That synagogue was the only Viennese one to survive WWII because it was built into a nest of other buildings.

Another press conference happened.

Main talking points where that one mosque and one Islam community the shooter was visiting have been closed. (They are working on measure to keep an eye on the people who were active in said places.)
Some re-structuring and investigations are gonna take place regarding wtf went wrong when it came to having the guy under observation.
According to them a "victim narrative" and an "anti-western stance" are important tools when it comes to the radicalization process. Glad to hear them call it out and not just use the same cop-outs we've heard for years.

Nehammer had kind of a great moment when the question of responsibility for all of the problems causing the perp to even have a chance to do anything came up:

"Concerning the topic of political accountability: from my point of view, I as the interior minister carry the political accountability for the security in this country and it is my function to do everything to, on one hand, warrant this security and on the other to restore it if it were to be violated.
It is also my responsibility to act against any shortcomings in a determined and clear manner. Furthermore it is my political responsibility to ensure the seperation and re-organization of the intelligence service and special branch as it has become clear that there were shortcomings within the BVT.
This is my understanding of political responsibility and it is very important to live according to this because the citizens now expect us, be that the police force or the people investigating behind the scenes to defend against terrorism, to do our best work and we are trying to ensure this."

It's refreshing to see this take from a politician, especially since the question about the responsibility wasn't even directed at him.

The EU is moving to either making encrypted messages illegal, or to make it so that the government can always unencrypt them as a result of this attack and the ones in France.

Seems like it'd be easier to just burn down all the mosques and deport every Muslim in Europe than try to put the tech genie back in the bottle.

Austria: Security forces arrest 30 radical Islamists as Chancellor Kurz declares ban on political Islam

On Monday morning, just two days before Austrian Chancellor Sebastian Kurz announced plans to enact new laws that would allow for the criminal prosecution of those who propagate political Islamic ideologies, security forces arrested 30 suspected Islamists in a series of predawn raids which saw more than 60 residences searched.

The raids, named Operation Luxor, followed last week’s deadly terror attack which saw a convicted Islamic State supporter gun down four people in the Vienna’s city center, and targeted the Muslim Brotherhood, Austrian branches of the Palestinian militant organization Hamas, and other international groups which openly advocate for Sharia law in Austria.

Those arrested during the sweeps, which took place across the states of Vienna, Styria, Carinthia, and Lower Austria, are alleged to have been involved in money laundering activities, the financing of terrorism, and the formation of a terrorist association, the Daily Mail reports.
Security forces seized laptops, smartphones, large amounts of cash, documents, but found no weapons of explosives during the searches of the residences. Additionally, bank accounts and financial assets were frozen so that investigators can trace flows of cash which “may be relevant with regard to the financing of terror”, the state prosecutor in Graz said. The main purpose of the raids was to “cut off the roots of political Islam," Interior Minister Karl Nehammer (ÖVP) said. “We are acting against these criminal, extremist and inhuman organizations with all our strength,” Nehammer added.

On Wednesday, Austria’s head of state Sebastian Kurz announced on social media that his coalition government would be establishing a new criminal offense called “political Islam” which will be used prosecute those who help to “create a breeding ground” for radical Islamic terrorism.
“In the fight against political Islam, we will create a criminal offense called 'political Islam' in order to be able to take action against those who are not terrorists themselves, but who create the breeding ground for it,” the Austrian chancellor wrote in a tweet after a Cabinet meeting.
In a subsequent tweet, Kurz wrote: “There will be further possibilities for the closure of the places of worship, the introduction of an imams register… and measures will be taken to drain the financial streams used to fund terrorism.”

Following last week’s bloody massacre which took place in the heart of the nation’s capital city, Kurz urged EU leaders to take bold and decisive action to eliminate the growing threat radical Islamic ideologies pose to all Europeans.
In an interview with the liberal cosmopolitan German newspaper Die Welt, the Austrian premier said, “Now, it is important that we resolutely continue the fight. Not only against Islamist terrorism but also against the ideological basis behind it — that is, against political Islam and radical Islamism.”
“The European Union must lead the fight against Islamist terrorism, but especially against the political base behind it — that is to say, political Islam, with all determination and unity,” Kurz added.

Earlier this week on Tuesday, the Austrian chancellor traveled to Paris to meet with French President Emmaneul Macron as the two leaders look to assemble a united European front against the unchecked rise of political Islam and radical Islamic terrorism, which both leaders have linked to flows of illegal migrants into Europe. Kurz and Macron also discussed the task at hand with German Chancellor Angela Merkel and the German president of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen.
