ok that's super cute thoughI used to make lots of (very crappy) rubber stamps when I was a kid. Every so often I'll get my tools out and make another. I wanted to make a trumpet stamp to keep track if the days I've been practicing on.

I love making friendship bracelets! Do you know anywhere online to get patterns for them? I know a bunch but I used to have this huge book of them and there are some I never got around to learning, now I really want to make more. I'd like to find that book again.I know how to make friendship bracelets - the classic thin ones with a striped or chevron pattern, and some that are wider and more elaborate
What (if anything) do you weave those on? It's not quite the same but I've been wanting to get into old fashioned tablet weaving. The specialized looms are pretty expensive, but I've seen some makeshift set ups online that are doable.I know how to make friendship bracelets - the classic thin ones with a striped or chevron pattern, and some that are wider and more elaborate
I mostly visit friendship-bracelets.net and braceletbook.com - there are certainly other sites, but I can say for sure that both of them have an active community, so new patterns are frequently uploaded (especially on braceletbook), as well as photos, videos and various tutorials. You can also find alpha patterns on both sites, but only friendship-bracelets has a third type of pattern, the kumihimo.I love making friendship bracelets! My husband just found like 10 back issues of Interweave Crochet at the thrift store, so lately I've been doing projects from there. I'm working on this filet crochet shawl now. I am going to do one in ecru and one in a kind of rusty color. I haven't decided what color beads i wanna use yet.
You don't need anything to weave them on if you do "normal" patterns (like the ones I've posted), but from what I can gather, alpha patterns are more similar to weaving. You have a number of base strings/threads which are used as a background for other strings to knot into. Because the knotting pattern is horizontal in alpha patterns rather than diagonal (like in normal patterns), it's possible to recreate words, logos and pieces of art. What (if anything) do you weave those on?
