Hypermenthol is exactly why I think GCFems and troons are both horrendous individuals, and both have horrifying ideologies that are intrinsically destructive to civil society. I'm sure there's an answer to troonery, but it really isn't GCFems and their fucking insanity.

There's a shit ton of data showing that women are highly domestically abusive, but that doesn't matter to GCFems, because their narrative presupposes that all violence is rooted in "Patriarchal Terrorism" and "toxic masculinity." I'll be honest, I think the 2nd wave RadFems are a significant part of WHY troon exist now - when you've had RadFems howling since the late 60's that "men are the sole party responsible for all the ills the world has ever known!", that women are hapless children incapable of any wrong, and that all gender roles are the sole outcome of socialization with no possibility of genetics playing a part?

Of course there's going to be some sick fucks that look at the possibility of RPing as a woman as an excuse to both dodge the suspicions direct at men, and use that lack of suspicions to get close to their preferred targets.

We've seen the same thing with male feminists allies being sexual predatory, with Shaun King and Rachel Dolezal pretending to be niggers, and that same phenomenon sure seems to be playing out with troons - there's a social stigma associated with one or more IdPol category, and since these assholes think everything is due to socialization, you can just socialize your way out of being part of the bad group, and join the good group.

Feminists started this stupidity with the pseudo-Marxist "No Objective Truth" and scientifically illiterate "all behaviours are entirely socialized", and now they want to fix the problem, but don't want to fix the contributory, ideological root causes that exist within their own advocacy?

I feel iffy about placing the blame on 2nd wave feminists. When Simone De Beauvoir (1949) said, “One is not born, but rather becomes, a woman" I don't think she had troons in mind. I think third-wave feminists like Judith Butler are more to blame..

There's an argument to be made blaming Butler, but she comes from the same Frankfurt-inspired philosophical roots as the 2nd wave Marxist and anarcho-feminists.

On the other hand, it depends where you draw the line on 2nd/3rd wave, and differentiate between the various sects, since both Butler and Dworkin are nominally 3rd wave, and I doubt they'd have agreed with each other on very much.

It cracks me up when people try to blame women for these scumbags existing. They’re untouchable fetishists who do things like “end up on the cover of vanity fair” and “take spots away from young women in sports and scholarship opportunities” and “shut down women’s shelters.” Meanwhile, feminists inside & outside of academia have been pointing out how insane and sick this shit is at least since the 80’s. The whole more-woke-than-thou genderism is relatively new, and lumping together “feminists” in order to blame them for what is essentially the newest MRA movement is a joke. I'm not "blaming women", I'm blaming specific subgroups of feminists. It might surprise you, but feminists and women are not 1:1, or a perfectly overlapped Venn diagram.

I didn't bother reading the rest of your rant, because I don't follow MRAs, and I don't see troon activists as being part of that lolcow community, since they're using talking points from a specific philosophical grouping of feminists to justify their dumbfuckery.

Asshats like JY and Rogaine Ogre are reliant on social constructionism and intersectionalism, which are specific to certain feminist sects. You can have a discussion about True Scots if you want, but it's not going to go anywhere; MRAs, lulzy as they are, don't subscribe to social constructivism, and troon activists are making their claims based on their asinine perception of what constitutes a woman, based on both blank slatism and intersectionalism.

It's not autistic, it's accurate; woman =/= feminist, troon activists are reliant on the bullshit peddled by a specific sect of feminism, and as lulzy as MRAs are, they aren't blank slatists and/or intersectionalists.

The rise of troondom is directly attributable to blank slate, intersectionalist feminists claiming that being a woman is just a matter of feeling that you're one, that men and women aren't an iota different biologically, and that socialization is all that matters.
