I have yet to meet an autistic person who does that. Maybe these ones just stay in their basements. This is why autists should be fitted with shock collars.

Same here, I've known (and been friends with) several autistic people, and I've never seen fapping, I mean, flapping, anywhere but Tumblr. I guess these spastics are ones that can't even be taken out in public. Or just choose to stay home because "my anxiety prevents me from being able to function around people, uwu"I have yet to meet an autistic person who does that. Oh don't remind me how this crowd also romanticizes anxiety. Because that can suck a lot more than autism.Same here, I've known (and been friends with) several autistic people, and I've never seen fapping, I mean, flapping, anywhere but Tumblr. I've seen one but he was a little kid and was obviously severely disabled. Definitely not coordinated enough to be running a blog.I have yet to meet an autistic person who does that. Maybe these ones just stay in their basements.

It's a severe reaction to overstimulation that isn't common at all until you dip further into the autistic pool. Most of the time overstim just usually results in kind of twitchy and easily irritated behavior. They're just being fucktards for no reason and plucking a severe autism symptom to validate themselves. If they can function enough to run a blog they should know to find a better way to stim without alerting everyone near them.
It always comes off like mimicking stereotypes. Like you were trying to convince people you had Tourette's so you just start randomly swearing all the time, not realizing most people with Tourette's don't have coprolalia.
I thought that said "coprophagia." Now that's a trend I'd like to see take off!
~:powerlevel:~ but I actually do do that when I get really excited. No where near that obnoxious though, she's definitely putting it on, it's more like talking with your hands but slightly exaggerated, and I try not to do it because it's annoying as fuck for anyone nearby.

You clearly haven't been around moderate-severely autistic kids then. They rock back and forth, clap, flap, and make weird noises.Honestly, I have never seen an autistic person actually flap for more than a second in public. They usually just bounce or do the stuff that people usually do when they are bored or impatiently waiting.
Actually, no I haven't been around severly autistic kids. Only around the higher functioning types. But they are literally everywhere where there are no crowds and a good wifi connection is available (*cough* browsing message boards *cough*)You clearly haven't been around moderate-severely autistic kids then. Annoyed by shitty parents and their loud-ass children? Congratulations, you have autism.View attachment 76971
