Technically speaking, someone can have a mastectomy- removal of the breasts, penectomy- removal of the penis, and a vaginectomy- removal of the vagina. They could even go so far as to get the ovaries or testes.

That being said, the concept that trans actually implies a desire to transition is completely dumbfounding to tumblrinas

This is the thing I never understood. They say "gatekeeper," I say "so?" What's wrong with keeping out people who don't fit the group? You see this with groups like Occupy Wall St and Black Lives Matter where they just take anybody with an agenda into their cause and as a direct result their entire message became lost. Why can these people justify keeping "TERFs" out of feminism and not keeping cis people out of the transgender community?
