Aren't media awards just massive events for group masturbation and political virtue signalling?
This is why I wait for people like YMS to riff on them and then upload the video on YouTube. Without the shitposting, it's just boring as fuck.

Lol I must be the only one who hated her in her shows. Idg the love for her in Big Little Lies because the only good parts of that crap were Nicole Kidman and Laura Dern.

I like how Watchmen is a "limited series" because it bombed and they didn't greenlight a season 2 :)
I wish they'd stop greenlighting Damon Lindelof projects all together. His name on a project is like signal flare marking an air strike; you know you don't want to be there when it happens.

Literally the only good parts of that show were Jean Smart, Jeremy Irons, and Regina King.

Unfortunately the bulk of its noms went to the Hooded Justice episode. You know...the one that flipped gay superhero on its head bc we be woke n sheet

Emmys, Oscars, Golden Globes, etc.

A time when award shows used to be about the quality of entertainment in TV and film.
Now it’s just the equivalent of product placement with celebrities acting like plastic figurines given lines to say whatever they’re told to for $$$ and more product placement/consumption from streaming services.

Netflix is not your friend.

And who's involved in this you might ask? You guessed it, J.J. Abrams.
