Awful "Epic gamer" PC cases -

As PC Gaming becomes more mainstream I cant help but notice the increasing number of awful looking overpriced PC cases being made. While I like cool looking components I think PC cases need to have a balance between being cool looking and being practical. Many of these cases seem to have weird or unorthodox designs just for the fuck of it.

This one has a handle on the back That I dont think you can see in this picture which pulls out the entire motherboard.

This case is pretty clearly a 3rd party knockoff of the cougar conqueror which is why they used such an ugly orange

for 4000$ You can get this custom made PC case with the republic of gamers logo for some reason.

So which one is the worst kiwis?

I was going to say the sphere was the absolute worst, because it does waste a ton of space, but once I got to the RoG one ... yeah, that's the winner.
As bad as the sphere is, at least doesn't hurt your eyes the way that shitty, bright neon sculpture does.

My PC has a clear side with some green lighting, which is actually pretty cumbersome when taking it apart for cleaning and is left off most of the time.

In reality, I think it stems from wanting my PC to be the one that I wanted when I was in high school.

I don't want any goddamn tempered glass side panels. The deals I see almost invariably include some kind of transparent side panel. PC cases should be solid metal boxes with good thermal performance, and no glass.

Every dollar not spent on extraneous lighting could be spent on getting a Ryzen 9 5950X, ≥128 GB of fast RAM, and other components most people don't need but are theoretically useful.
