During the 2008 recession, my aunt and my little baby cousin lived at my house. Lil baby loved these Gerber sausages and kind of refused to eat anything else.
When they got their own place and left, they left behind a few packs of these baby sausages. Not wanting them to go to waste, I tried them and was surprised to find that they were very good. Very inoffensive taste, but still tasty. Got strange looks when I went to the store and bought a few packs to feast on them.
I intentionally didn't post Gerber, because Gerber baby food with a plastic container is shit. They changed their recipe. Glass jar is still good, but it's hard to find Gerber's banana in a glass jar.
It does, I have tried it before and makes your muffins as moist as using brown sugar does. The downside is some of the flavor leaks into them if you pick to use any kind besides apple or banana.
This is a rule I had as my daughter was growing up. Whatever she ate, I had eaten first. If it tasted gross, she didnt get it. Babies aren't pets. Those little Gerber meat sticks actually taste pretty good. Unseasoned hot dogs really.
