Bad character Redesign thread - redesigning characters you think look terrible

So I’ve been thinking about this lately...
@Celandine mentioned redesigned She-Ra characters in the reboot thread. And somebody mentioned redesigning TemTem and misshapen monster.
So I made this thread.

I am starting off with my High Guardian Spice redesigns, starting off with Rosemary

I gave her twindrills instead of that poofy hair, because it makes her more like an anime girl.

So, yeah, I decided to make them look more anime-like, ‘cause if your gonna fake an anime, then you got to do it RIGHT!!

Does it count if I did, like, the opposite of this? Instead of redesigning the Spice girls, I "borrowed" a lot of the pink one's design for a character who better matches what she looks like. The dead eyes and long straight bangs going over the eyes lends themselves better to a snarkier sort of character, so combined with the pigtails they work great for a punky sort of girl. I should draw her up and post her here.

maybe I'm alone but I think her hero outfit is fugly. Random fur, the green and purple doesnt complement her features, why are her boots fucking maroon? Why? I hate it so much lmao

Her quirk is... acid from her hands. It has a title but I cant be fucked to look it up. So no gloves makes sense even though that could be a nice way to time some of this color vomit together.

Nah bruh, her original jazz solo cup color scheme is good. Green and purple are both colors traditionally associated with poison, and they’re unique and stand out from the crowd.

They dont complement her skin at all.

And you didnt answer me about why tf her boots are fecking maroon! Lol

What if instead of purple he did red/maroon and green or green and black. Reminds me of poison dart frogs. Honestly, any bright colors like yellow are associated with posion in the wild, so I think your point is moot when looking at how bland the purple and green look together on her original outfit, NGL.

i tried to design a whole new outfit for her altogether because i really dont like the awkward looking splotches on her body suit. i wanted to use colors that would complement her skintone but also look acidic/poisonous.

green and purple are correlated with poison but the green used in her original outfit is more of an aqua color and the purple just looks ugly with it. so i instead made it a more neon green and made the purple more on the pink side to go nicely with her skin tone.

also im just now realizing i forgot her horns and mask but whatever. i think goggles would have been a cool touch as a way to protect her eyes from the acid. but then again i think the character already has an immunity to it so it would just be for aesthetic purposes.

I really don't care to spend more than a few minutes on this so here ya go. I'm not bothering with the stripes/color cuz fuck it. Just make him less eye searing and it'll be fine.
